Cordelia
Well, I've been roaming this forum and the never-ending field of psychedelia for some time now. Don't get me wrong, I don't claim to know very much. That's why I'd love to become an active member of this community; I'm curious! I'll do my best to contribute in any positive way I can, without any name calling but perhaps with a pinch of sarcasm.
I guess the best kind of thing to do with one of these essays is to... um... introduce myself? My name's Cordy, I'm 19 and I'm Swiss/American. I grew up in Rhode Island and New York, then moved to Switzerland and now I'm in France... but I still have an apartment in Geneva. To be perfectly honest, I'm confused as to where I live. I keep coming back to the house my parents own because I get so homesick. We live out in the country here... lots of animals, a vegetable garden and fruit trees. I miss it within minutes.
I'm a student, in my last year of the international baccalaureate. I'm a year behind due to lots of health problems... and other issues... which I can gladly say I have been overcoming. My problem is I only study for the classes I am genuinely interested in.... so I get top marks in those and barely scrape a pass in the rest.
I'm interested in so many things. I won't bore you with details... but I play a lot of bass and violin. I write poetry and songs... and I love to draw and paint as well! Anything involving genuine human expression interests me... whether it be uplifting or something that drags you into the darker chasms of an individual's psyche.
So basically that's it! I hope I'll deserve my stay here.
