Rising Star
Hi all. I figure I've procrastinated the intro essay long enough, even though there's really nothing to see here. Really. I'm pretty boring.
Let's see....where to start? I'm a 30-something dude from the south, fairly intelligent, can do pretty much anything given the resources, and...blah blah blah....
Although I've always known about psychedelics, I've never really been interested in them until fairly recently, and really only interested in DMT at that. I'm not really wanting to get high per se; I'm much more interested in the potential for experiences in the 'Non Physical Reality' as Tom Campbell likes to call it.
I've had quite a few random spontaneous spiritual experiences in my life, starting during childhood. Those experiences seem to have more or less stopped over the last few years, for whatever reason. I miss those experiences, and really would like to 're-engage' whatever it is that I seem to have lost. I've looked and searched and studied ways to be able to control and induce those experiences and have dabbled in various techniques such as meditation, brainwave entrainment etc, and really haven't been successful. I know these things do work, and the failures are all attributable to my inability to completely dedicate myself to the 'lifestyle'.
To make a really long story short(er), I started seeing more and more mention of DMT, and reading the reports of those who have experienced breakthroughs, and it really struck me how similar those experiences were to the ones I used to have. So naturally, I started looking into DMT, and what it was, and how to get it. Needless to say, DMT Nexus is the end-all be-all for everything DMT. So here I am. Really hoping that at least one good DMT experience will jump start me, and give me the true motivation to do what I have to do, to get back to where I need to be.
Thanks to everyone that has contributed to the enormous amount of info on this site. I've already learned so much that fits very nicely with similar techniques and procedures and experiments I had already learned and experienced and, regrettably, partook in during times far past.
Hopefully at some point I'll be able to contribute something useful to the community. Until then, onward and upward!
P.S. I typed this on my crappy phone, on crappy WiFi, with a cappy Tor connection. So sorry if it sucks and is painful to try to read.
