Thanks for welcoming me. In regards to the calling, I thought I might share something about why I feel called. Maybe I can paint a clearer picture with fewer words using a timeline.
Dec. 91 - 1st blotter which shattered me and left much confusion
Mar. 92 - Drawn to a Dead show mostly because I liked the music but very naïve. At that point began to sense that "it" could be found.
Mar. 92-2001 - Spent much of my time trying to act cool and in the know and basically lost my shit at every possible opportunity.
2001-2002 - Addiction to useless things that only proved that I was looking for "it" in the wrong place.
2002-2004 - Very normal time, occupied myself with recovering from prior damage
2004-2008 - Army enlistment
2008-2011 - Addicted once again to the same BS as in 2001
2013 - Found myself listening to self help podcasts and such and just happened to run across a McKenna podcast. One podcast in an hour and a half and I was astounded at how much the podcast help me to understand. So far, McKenna is like the rug in the Big Lebowski (he really ties the room together)
Well, enough of all that, just wanted to give some sort of snapshot into my reasoning for being here.
