Hi everyone, a brief intro. I'm in San Francisco, 32 years old. Lots of experience with various entheogens over the past 15 or so years. If you can name it, probably I've tried it a few times. Spent some time in the Amazon with shamen doing Ayahuasca, mushrooms, and Huachuma back in 2007ish. DMT hundreds of times probably. The last couple years I have abstained from DMT resultant from an indescribably intense trip which had some pretty dramatic implications on me and my worldview.
Years ago it was out of body experiences instantiated by DMT which motivated me to pursue such experiences while sober, which I was fortunate to achieve with a fairly high level of success (though it didn't come easy). I subsequently wrote a ~20 page guide on how to replicate my results which has garnered a small amount of attention in a couple online communities. Some day I hope to produce a book describing my spiritual journey, of which drugs have been a significant consideration.
The DMT experience fascinates me, at least partially because I think we really do not, perhaps cannot really understand the experience nor the implications it may have on our view of reality of consciousness. Anyway, I'm honored to be part of this group of fellow psychonauts.. a group of incredibly brave, curious, and probably crazy individuals devoted to truly exploring all that is. Cheers!
