Hello to All,
I would like to share a bit of myself and how I have come to this new portion of my life as a recently joined member of the nexus.
I myself have had a great fascination in psychoactive compounds since my early years in secondary school. This fascination did not meet with practical understanding until I first began to attend a secondary level chemistry course, to which I found my passion for life -as it was then that my life was full of passion.
From this point I continued to broaden my knowledge of chemistry as a whole, alongside my knowledge psychoactive compounds and their mechanisms, history, use, tradition, and application in modern society. Ethnobotany found greater value to my life as I learned of my Native American heritage and cultivated a greater respect for this earth through the teachings my mother had to offer from our time traveling the mountains, and our time maintaining her garden.
I have been a student of chemistry for some years now, and there will always be more for me to learn with the continuation of my education, and the continuation of my life. I have come to the nexus many times as a spectator to better my understanding, and now I wish to continue this growth by becoming an active member and contributing my knowledge and experience to the ingenuity of this community, all the while learning from the teacher that is within every member.
Thank you for the admittance, this opportunity to grow, to learn, and contribute.
