Thanks for sharing. I hadn’t come across this study yet. It’s interesting that they’re willing to push such strong suggestions and somewhat weak conclusions, especially given that it’s based on just nine participants. And then claim it really shows the need for further research.

For me, this study is starting to trigger a bit of an allergic reaction, in the sense that there’s very little critical thinking about what’s actually happening. It feels more like it’s trying to ride the current hype around psychedelics rather than truly adding anything new.

Because honestly, we already knew this. So how groundbreaking is what they’re presenting here, really? At best it’s an consolidation of prior knowledge through some test in n=9. It almost feels more like an exercise than a serious study.

Anyway, thanks for sharing. I’m curious to hear what you think about it, if you take a critical look.

For me at least, I do enjoy science and its always been a backseat interest, but my only take is its face value other than the 'only 9' people thing you highlight.

Clearly keeping the Psychedelics Subject active in science is important to people rather like the thousands of Cannabis studies out there that governments keep stating there just isn't enough data to legalise. So the more studies the merrier in my mind.
