Snorting vs smoking

Ive seen a few ppl mention snorting DMT, How does this compare to smoking it? Swims nose has had a hammering over the years with other substances so hes not bothered by any pain from snorting but how do the effects differ?

Snorting NN-DMT

Has any of you dreamed of snorting DMT? I was just reading this ( http://peyote.com/jonstef/dmt.htm ) and I find it interesting. Especially in combination with MAO inhibitor like Syrian Rue. I still haven't smoked freebase and I'm thinking maybe it would be good to dream about this first...

So, people were already asking this question over eighteen years ago, which is also about the time I tried snorting it. It hurts, but it works - if you can consider it a success going into hyperspace with streaming eyes and the feeling that you've been hit in the nose with a brick…

It's also a tad wasteful compared with efficient vaporisation.
