Have heard about Snakes being a common theme with DMT/Ayahuasca. However I just wondered if anyone had ever had Carnival or Circus type themes and if anyone had insight into the meaning of such topic. It's just that on a number of different substances I have had this sort of vision and although nice it kinda bugs me as afterwards I kinda feel this is an important message but unsure as how to interpret.... any ideas?

Hi KrustytheClown,

I've never taken aya, but I have dosed with vaped DMT and pharma and yeah, I've been to the Insane Alien Carnival more than once. Rather than describe my experience(s) I'll just say to me it symbolizes a playful benign-ness and often seems to involve meeting entities who want a more one-on-one interaction (e.g. riding around with 2 of them in an elf-cart on a roller coaster in one of these carnivals).

The entire impression for me is one of a kind of silly return to childhood and play.

Peace & Love,
Pandora

Salvia sometimes takes me to a carnival type place, but never with DMT.

(Once during a salvia journey, I became a circus tent!)

That's just mad!

I have never tried Salvia and I'm not inclined to either. When I read of these guys who use DMT and are scared of Salvia all sorts of alarm bells start going off.

Hi Krusty,
Yes, during several of my earliest "breakthrough" experiences, I found myself in what I described as a sacred festival ground. It was kind of a darkish place, with a few dimly lit, rainbow-colored circus tents. Outside one of the tents sat two wizardly looking "men", and they both had DMT pipes. The message I felt them convey was basically, "Good to see you...this is wacky stuff...glad you're here". I was only there for a short time but it felt like a very long time, and I was connected with my body during all but the peak of the experience; it was like a domed space right above my head, and at the end of it a hand poured me back down into my body.
I connect this festival ground with "being home", that's the best answer I have for your question. Have you checked out any of the discussions on clowns/jesters that commonly appear in Spice journeys? First link has some jester discussion at the end of it, second link discusses the origin of clowns, hope this helps.

I have been at such a place two. Especialy the 'darkishness' rings a bell to me. There where circustents and once you entered them they would suck you in and you'd fly through a dark sort of space in a spiraling 'vortexcarousel' and along the way all sort of images where shown that often slowly precipitated out of the dark. I never thought of it as a typical DMT-theme but more as a sort of memory to my early childhood. As a child i was fascinated by circusses, like most childeren i gues.

Yeah, I totally resonate with the dark carnival theme. It feels more like a carnival than a circus to me, and I get it very often.

Krusty - Since you mentioned other substances... I once had a mind blowing circus episode deep in a mushroom trance. Bears, elephants, and lions were all dancing and doing cartwheels down the street. I know it sounds like something from a Greatful Dead album cover, but that's what it was.

Peace,
-idt

i can totally relate to salvia taking me to a carnival type place. specifically one time where it seemed like some type of carnival like gameshow. lots of people i couldn't see were repeatedly asking me insane nonsensical rapid fire questions and i couldn't understand any of it. i felt kinda like i was the wheel in the wheel of fortune or something. anyways it turned into this overwhelming fear of a sickness like when you are totally on question one of a very important test and you have 1 minute to finish but that minute never comes. i dont do salvia anymore. :)
