healing propertys?

Migrated topic.
This is a tough question. On the one hand, I can from experience say that it has personally healed a lot of things in myself that I suffered after excessive use of LSD, and has really opened my eyes to what, who and how I am... on a number of levels. On the other, I don't feel comfortable in outright recommending you this path for healing of psychedelic trauma, as I feel I would be extremely irresponsible in doing so. DMT can open you up to a lot of other ways of thinking that you might not have realised existed, and in doing so, may create more problems than were there in the first place. I can't say it has made my life easier, though I can say that I am glad I found it and it has made me a more compassionate, open minded and empathetic person. In a nutshell, yes dmt can offer profound healing, but I cannot definitively say that it will.

Its all about what you bring home from these experiences. Don't expect to just smoke dmt and be cured.. you have to pay attention to what it shows you, and be willing to really put in a conscious effort to integrate those things into your life.

I think the best thing for a brain damaged by psychedelics is probably time away from using ANY substance personally.. ultimately what you seek is always there to be found and always will be. Try eating healthily, thinking positively and getting outside and talking to people about how you feel.. this ultimately will be powerful medicine in itself.

I second that. Let your brain operate in its predetermined everyday pattern, it may not be wise to alter its function in the hope that the potential alteration may offer you some type of insight (since you consider it "damaged" in any way) and/or alleviation. Your brain is tuned for optimal survival in this environment, let it feel dominant and useful for a while.

P.S. it would also be helpful if you could provide a subjective description of how you perceive it to be "damaged" (e.g. why, when, duration, nature of disturbance etc.)
