Hello! This is my first post to the Nexus, and I'm very excited to be a new member, though I've been lurking in and surfing the forum for several years.

Recently I've moved to a new location with good people which allows me to pursue my dream of a full "medicine garden" in my home, which I'm quite enthusiastic about:grin: . At the moment, I've got the following growing, seeding, or germinating:
1 Bolivian torch cactus,a single young caapi, 1 P. alba, Mapacho, a small Syrian rue which I'm hopeful for, HBWR, Ololiúqui, Voacanga, Akuamma, and a beautiful young Cebil.
I'll have some chacruna growing soon, too:d

What do you think? Do you have any suggestions for additions to my garden or tips for a novice entheogen gardener ( I have quite a lot of experience growing other plants for what it's worth)?

Nice collection! Congrats on the new opportunity to grow a garden.

But you need more than one Trichocereus cactus! You may want to consider adding a non-pc Pachanoi, and a Scopulicola, and a fat, blue true Peruvianus.

And what about Kanna and Brugmansia (or Datura)?

I also like to grow Garden Sage (salvia officinalis). It contains thujone (like wormwood and absynthe). The tea is very calming. It has beautiful spring flowers and you can cook with it too.

Thank you! I am very interested in more cacti, a friend offered me an opportunity to get one of his Peruvianus, which I am definitely going to take up. This is my first Trichocereus, so I want to make sure I'm doing it really right.

I would like to add a Datura metel or inoxia as well as a Brugmansia soon, I'm clearing out more space down by the stream near the house for such the like. And I hadn't thought about Kanna, but I will look into it, I haven't had too much success in the use of that plant, but then again I haven't tried all that much, and I'm sure growing it would give me a renewed appreciation of it.

We've got quite a nice herb garden going here; a TON of rosemary, lavender, spearmint, and wild mint, and basil. I've wanted to expand onto that bit of space, we are putting some more food plants there right now, but more herbs and spices like Garden Sage are more than welcome.
