Hello nexus!
Great forum, everyone seems well informed, intelligent and keen to share their knowledge. SWIM has just done their first extraction. It went well, SWIM learned a massive amount and thoroughly enjoyed every step. SWIM is now reading a lot more around the subject before finding the correct time, set, setting (and courage!) for a first dabble into the amazing world of spice!
SWIM has always been interested in the other realms that different substances may offer, even since SWIM was far too young to try them! SWIM remembers news stories about "acid house parties" here in the UK when I was about 8 or 9 and really wanting to know what was going on there!
SWIM is experienced with most "recreational" substances, and has pretty much always enjoyed and learned from his experiences. SWIM enjoys to read around the subject and has a little peyote garden at home, for research purposes
SWIM has had 1 profound, life changing experience with a friend whilst on mdma. Not the typical substance for a spiritual awakening I know, and in the many times SWIM has taken it this was the only experience like it, perhaps there was some other compound lurking in there as well! It genuinely changed SWIM and his friends lives however, the two of them shared a definate contact with the devine, the all and nothing, both shared EXACTLY the same experience - it was truely awe inspiring, humbling, comforting and alarming. This forum seems to be a place where many have visited where SWIM has been, and beyond. This comforts SWIM massively, and it is great to be in contact with kindred spirits.
Since that point, now several years ago, life, and the psychadelic experience has takn on a new dimension for SWIM, and he aims to explore more with open arms and an open mind. SWIM first heard of spice about 8 or 9 years ago, but found the description beyond what he was comfortable with at the time. Having grown older, matured, researched, read, chatted and thought a great deal, SWIM finds himself right on the edge of his first trip into hyperspace, as ready as he can be.
SWIM must admit a certain nervousness about this first voyage, and afterwards working toward a breakthrough dose. SWIM has no one he would feel comfortable sharing this first experience with, and would rather go into it alone. SWIM is grateful that the nexus exists to support him, and he will in turn support the nexus with any insight or knowledge that may help others.
One thing SWIM was planning on doing was a guide to where to find the relevant kit for Normans tek in the UK? The hardest part of the extraction for SWIM was working out where to find everything and converting US into UK brands for solvents etc. I researched this well and may be able to help other UK newb's what do you think? Or has this been done and I missed it?
