Herbs or medicines for vivid dreams?

I am based in US and I have noticed more vivid dreams since I extracted freebase dmt. I however cannot manage to breakthrough. It is strange for me and I fear I am doing something wrong. I feel as if I keep burning my dmt somehow. At first I was trying a soda lime glass vial and it was very poor to say the least.

Now that I made the machine I have had more success but I still can’t breakthrough. I smoke and I see what feels like a glass in between me and what lies beyond.

So I want a more reliable method that will allow me to “break” the glass. My issue is that I hit my machine and by the time I go for another hit I am already too high. However it is never a breakthrough amount. I get very close but I feel as if something was stopping me.

I am looking into possibly trying pharmayusca which I understand to be a plant with a MAO inhibitor and dmt. I feel as if this will allow better dosing.

With smoking I feel as if it is unpredictable since I sometimes burn more dmt and sometimes I don’t. So sometimes I receive great effects from 15 mg while sometimes 30mg gets me less effects.

One time I smoked 500mg in a single sitting spread out over a couple hits and only managed a mild high where I felt the walls breathe.

This was when I was using my soda lime glass vial.
My best experience has been building a base layer of kanna in a bong with 0.05g of dmt and another sprinkle of kanna over. I have never left this planet so fast in my life. Before the end of my exhale there was absolutely no way to keep my eyes open.

Has anyone mentioned amanita-s?

Micro-dosing on red-caps (about .3g in the morning and 1-2h before heading to bed) produces some amazing dreams - the kind you'll be awaking from feeling sorry - once you realize how grey the reality you awoke to is...
It usually starts on the 2-3rd day once you begin and lasts for about a week.

The catch is - you only get to experience this once. Same as with the beginner's euphoria on cubes - this is a one-way door. Well, perhaps, after a few years break? I don't know anyone who tried... Your millage may vary, my sister swears - her dreams go bananas every time she does a cycle of amanita-s. Community's wisdom says otherwise.

Be careful with dosing, if you notice difficulties falling asleep - you're overdoing it on the evening intake for sure.

I've tested glutinosa; it definitely has potential, but requires some kind of work-up to produce any more than the threshold effects I got from quidding a dozen or so leaves. Still, the effects are pleasant enough even if quidding is rather scratchy due to the abundant hairs on these leaves. Divinorum is at least relatively glabrous. I'm working on expanding the amount of glutinosa in the garden since it would appear that a large amount of leaf material will be necessary to make progress with this species.

If I were a more sophisticated fellow, I'd also be focussing on selective breeding for increased potency.
Do you know where salvinorin is stored in glutinosa? I am asking because flower stems of glutinosa have abundant number of interesting appearing trichomes.

I would have to guess at the trichomes - that's one hairy plant, and the flowers pikes are covered with abundant sticky resin, smelling for all the world like ganja.

Keep a dream journal and do reality check/tests such as pulling a finger (in dream it might stretch or something), trying to breath through a plugged nose (in dream you will breathe through your plugged nose), or looking at something and looking away and looking back again (people's faces, objects, clock; all will change on the second look and check if things look right to you, try to notice distortions)
I did the dream journal for a while and I still do it when my dreams are very interesting. I notice that writing down my dreams somehow allows for better recollection of them. It massively improved my dream recall ability.

As for the reality checks I tried doing it but I struggled too much I always forget to do it.
As for herbs

Silene capensis (African Dream Root) helps with dream recall memory and very small amounts are used in the morning. It takes a month to build up into your system and start working

Synaptic kirkii, Calea zachatechichi (Bitter Dream Herb), Entada rheedii (African Dream Bean) all increase lucidity.

@SuperMarioKiev Mescaline is not tested for in drug tests and mushrooms are only detectable for 3 days at most and are not usually tested for. DMT is also not tested for, too

Grow and use as much cactus as you want & use mushrooms on 3 day weekends or PTO/vacations. Be careful with PTO try to have some laying around for emergencies etc but it could get you a 3 day weekend for shrooms
When you say mushrooms you mean psilocybin?

I tried mugwort yesterday and had a type of nightmare but no real lucidity. My dream recall was also the same as it normally is. Might be due to the fact I already have a somewhat trained dream recall from writing it in a journal.
Was there something in particular that distinguished this one as a nightmare in contrast to just a vivid dream? Was it the scenario itself, or the mood it entailed, or maybe something else? It's kind of interesting to see where any specific individual might draw the line with that. With mugwort I'd get intensity but I'd generally feel 'safe' within the dreamscape.

This reminds me, somewhere a while back I've mentioned another lucid dreaming combo, namely Eschscholzia californica (Californian poppy) tincture plus Syrian rue. The near-lucid dream I had with that combo was utterly magical, although regular dosing of those two herbs together seems contraindicated as I sensed a possibility of respiratory paralysis which I suspect may be mediated by the quaternary alkaloids in the E. californica, but only in combination with the rue.

Please note, also, that despite having 'poppy' in its name, E. californica is not an opiate-producing species

That is the weird thing. I often have dreams one would consider nightmares but I am a huge adrenaline junkie and I end up enjoying them most of the time.

However this time I had this sense of unease despite the situation being not all that terrible.

I had this dream where I was starting at an electrical panel and I could not decipher what a certain contactor was doing.

Hmm seems interesting I plan on getting some syrian rue to use with dmt I might try this.

Next I was going to try lemborexant. I am big on natural medicine but above all I simply want something that works.
