Hey, :)

First post and I'm after a little bit of advice please.
Have tried searching but not been able to find anything specific to this:

DMT salted from solvent with FASA then basified with sodium carbonate waited till the mixture dried and finally extracted with acetone, evaporated and these are the results.

Jar on the left has dried, still waiting for the jar on the right and the glass dish,
Only problem is when I go to vape the spice on the left,
it pops and crackles and just doesn't taste right. I'm assuming the rest of the batch will behave the same.

can it be saved or should I just scrap... :?

Thanks,

I'm pretty sure that's DMT oxide. You can take an herb, clean it up with the herb, add some alcohol, let it dry and then smoke the herb.

Hey, thanks for the reply.
It's full range spice, but I think something is contaminating it.
I guess I'm really after a way to remove only the active compounds and leave anything else behind.
any ideas? :)

Dont throw anything away!!

You say that it cracles and pops when smoked? that could be that there is still some solvent in there.

I would just scrape it around, chop it up and scrape till it dry's more. As for contamination, why are you so certain that there are contams? Are you solvents pure?

If you want to separate the DMT from the rest of the alks, you could just pull with warm naptha and freeze the naptha, then you would have separated the DMT from the fullrange leaving you with some DMT and some Jungle.

There are actives in Jungle too, a bit harsh on the throat, but active.

Hey, thanks... :)
I'll try combining it all, smearing it around some more and see where that leaves me.
I'd assumed something was contaminating it because of the unusual taste and the crackling,
solvent used was d-limonene from jimjam so should be okay. I thought maybe some sodium carbonate
had snuck into the acetone on the last step.
Really appreciate the help!
