First batch of changa is at the burp cure stage to remove the rest of the iso scent. For herbs .6g mullien, .2g mugwort, and .2g lemon balm. Alkaloids were 1g DMT to 1g herbs to .3g harmalas. Alkaloids dissolved into two month infused 99% isoproply with lavender, lemon balm, and peppermint. The scent is pleasant and calming.1937.jpg

DetritusTheEgo How do you get it so fluffy? I really like the idea of infusing the alcohol with aromatics without adding too many extra herbs. I had thought to use menthol crystals but they're very potent, even when diluted.

I think the mullein being the primary herb in my blend is the primary reason for the texture being that fluffy. As a frame of reference here is a before picture

019.jpg

I used a metal space case style grinder that I've used previously for weed to grind the mullein to the texture seen above as I didn't want to have to grind the herbs after infusion.

The scent infusion concept came from The Art of Changa, a guide to making the perfect blends by olympus mon. Of which that thread calls out the particular combo of lemon balm, spearmint, and lavender as a favorite so thanks olympus mon for sharing 🙏.

I did lemon balm, spearmint, and lavender in three different half pint sized jars, with each jar full of herbs then filled each with 99% isopropyl until the herbs were submerged. I ended up only using 10ml of each infused iso then 60ml of noninfused iso until my infusion jar was about a third full. So I went with the larger amount of solvent for the slow evap style infusion from All Things CHANGA: An Essential Guide from Voidmatrix. Swirled the jar a few times everyday.

So you can for sure do the stock solution style of dilution that Transform alludes to! I am not sure how menthol would translate into harshness of the smoke but menthol cigarettes are popular so I'm sure with the right dilution you could be onto something good.

Edited from peppermint to spearmint. :giggle:

Beautiful stuff! Looks to me like there's a fair amount of flower buds in there. Usually I find mostly leaf and bits I have to sift through. Maybe I should just grow some.
That is probably a large contributor which I didn't mention. The mullein I used was harvested by me locally. Went from large flully dehydrated full leaf into the grinder. Skipped any of the thick centers on larger leaves.

Maybe we all should… my garden has spearmint and lemon balm in uncontrolled abundance already, and there's some motherwort staking its claims wherever it can get a (f/r)oothold - plenty of garden sage and a reasonable patch of Jupiter's distaff on top of that starts to sound like a recipe in the making.

Let's call it "the Art of Changardening" :D
