So I just did my first extraction got 1/2 gram of salt from 100 grams powder.Dont know if thats good or bad but im pumped that I actually succeeded.My question is I read that I should use 1 gram lye for every gram of powder.so I used 100 grams,but in the dmt handbook they used I believe 200 grams lye for 2 kilos powder.So whats the exceptable equation.how much lye per powder? thanx.

Had good results using a 2:1 as well. 2000g of lye per kilo is alot, but works (yeild 1.2% 1st pull). Base doesn't hurt the DMT, or so heard. But have to clean it afterward.
The pKa of DMT is 8.68.
The pKa of Mescaline is 9.56. basify the crap out of mesc extrations and have good results!!!:d
