How much purification do Rue harmalas actually need?

I have been thinking... if it is to be taken orally, how important is it to get high purity harmine/harmaline? I figure not terribly, since some just drink Rue tea without any extraction/purification.

Can I just use the light brown precipitate that one gets after 2-3 A/B cycles? Maybe adjust the dosage by a factor of 2 to account for impurities?

Don't double the dose, there will be far less than 50% impurities and doing so will risk causing a challenging level of debilitation.
