Hypertensive crisis and Harmala alkaloids

There are so many sites and people claiming that the harmala alkaloids can cause problems when ingested with things like mescaline, I was wondering if there is any documentation of problems occurring with such a combination or with others.

If someone took them and said they didn't feel well or had a headache that doesn't count unless they have blood pressure data showing a clear case of hypertension. There are enough reports of severe headache with cactus and mescaline alone that the symptom of headache in such a combination may have nothing to do with the harmala alkaloids at all.

Please share the ref or links or data with me.
 
..will do some research to try and clarify this, but whereas mescaline may be 'ok' (according to J.Ott), other substances have lead to a few deaths (amphetamine, nicotine).
most of the MAOI diet info. comes from 50s-60s prescription MAOIs, not field tested ayahusca or pharmahuasca...

Seconded...vaped and oral.

Many people claim harmalas are MAOIs as well, which is incorrect as they are RIMA's. I don't know of documentation on the combination, I'll see if I can find anything, but I know several people who have taken them in combination with no ill-reports.
 
Is there any problems with eating foods with tyramine, prior or after taking 15-30mg of sublingual harmalas?
 
i've drank the tea equivalent of one 12' section of t. bridgesii w/ 3g's of rue w/ slight stomach uneasiness the went away in an hour or two.
