I have naphta in a seperate freeze dish jar. However in this naphta theres a tiny bubble of aqueous for 50ml naphta, does this matter? I estimate it to be below 1mL of aqueous for exactly 70mL of naphta. Also one more question, exactly how long should I be freezing my naphta for before the dmt begins to seperate?

You do not want that water in there if you can help it.
Pour the naphtha and watery droplet into a clean jug, add a bit more water and then pipette all the water out. Return the naphtha minus water to a clean, dry freeze precipitation dish.

In future, use the jug to catch the watery contamination before transferring the naphtha to the dish.
