I left acid soak soup for 14 days. Aware of this mistake!

Hello!
I have a little problem. I was busy, there was a lot of work in those last two weeks and I started the extraction but didn't continue and left it all in the big bottle.
How I wish I had added base right away!
I did an acid soak and left the bottle with the soup and bark for 14 days.
I was told that it would be better than adding lye and leaving a base solution. I thought the amount of acid would not allow bacteria and molds to grow, I was sure that the acid would make this soup unsuitable for pathogens. How wrong I was... My sour mimosa bark soup is moldy! There's a green and white mold inside and I don't know what to do. It smells like an old cellar and moldy old cheese. I used 200 grams of mimosa bark and I'm sorry to throw it away, but on the other hand I'm afraid of mycotoxins. Would it be dangerous to use this for extraction? I'm afraid that some mycotoxins will be soluble in heptane and I'll pull them along with DMT. I'm not sure that recrystallization will help clean them up. I'm sad. Help.

P.S. I was told by JustB in the chat that he had this problem as well and people recommended him to flush it down the toilet because of mycotoxins risk. Endy and HT don't recommend to use it too.
My doubts are justified.

Just don't leave your sour soup for long time! Use the base in 1-2 days of acid soaking maximum! Otherwise, mold is likely to grow there!

I hope this thread can help someone to avoid the same problem.
I flushed the contents of the bottle with 200 grams of bark down the toilet... :thumb_dow

14 days wow. I do 1 hour. Was this an experiment or did you forget about your soup?

I hadn't possibility to do full extraction. I've only acid soaked and was busy then.
I was told that it's okay to leave for that long either :|

Never heard of this problem and am surprised to hear of it.
I did the acid extraction on a large amount of bark months ago, the majority of it is sitting in a demijohn in my cupboard. Just checked on it, and apart from some sediment on the glass it all seems fine.
I'm guessing you could always just cover the tea with a layer of your solvent until you were going to finish the extraction if this was a problem.
As for the tainted batch, I'd throw it and chalk that one down..

Well, if you recall, I gave you a load of advice in chat and you seem to have ignored it all. Thanks :|

You could have based it, you could have frozen it, you could have simply waited until you did have the time before adding any liquid to the bark - but no, you did exactly what you were suggested not to do and this is the result.

That said, I kind of agree with famine that if you strain out any mouldy lumps, then add base and pull with naphtha any product should be OK after a recrystallisation. I would be inclined to put it through another A/B cycle and filter the acid phase through a 0.45µm filter to get any stray spores out. Accidentally deeply inhaling mould spores might have serious adverse health consequences.
