Idea's for a homade vaporizer

I was thinking of buying a volcano vaporizer so I checked them out... $500+! I did'nt expect that!

I'm somewhat handy so I'm going to attempt to make my own convection type. Basically the idea I have is a variable switch attached to a small fan blowing into a 2" diameter chamber which is tapered down to a 1/4 or 1/2" diameter glass tube encasing a heating element. So I'm thinking if that glass tube is 3 or 4" long with coiled solid copper, or other coiled material (not sure if I'd get toxic copper fumes) for a heat element, it would get hot enough. I would use a 12 volt marine battery with a breaker switch to activate the heat element. The hot air would blow up into a slightly larger glass tube with a screen, then some chore or steel wool to hold the dmt and make that tube just long enough to attach a balloon without melting it. I would use a heavy duty, large balloon. The whole apperatis would be in a vertical position.

And fortunately I have a friend that's a glassblower. Considering I have the battery already, and some of the other supplies I should be able to do this for under $30.

Don't get me wrong, I'd rather just buy one but just don't have the cash for something like that. I just want to be able to vape 30 or 40 mgs. in one hit.. So if any of you even remotely have an idea of what I tried to explain and have any tips or suggestions they would help. Or any other way I can achieve my goal spending less than $100 or so, I'm open to that too... Thanks:idea:

deeplake, here is photo and description made by me year back vaporizer. Its sizes: 80mm(d) x 125mm(h). He is intended for changa or enhanced leaf and works like Volcano - cheats the package a ferry. Differs original idea - in it no complex scheme of the warm-up checking, instead of this there is simple scheme of the delay of the cut-in fan on IC NE555. I have spent on detail for it only 30-50$!! (1Х fan 40х40x10mm -12v, 1X halogen lamp 12v - 50w diameter =35mm (China) // defensive glass frontal I have deleted //, 1Х electric ballast for lamp 12v - 60w (China), 1X IC NE555 + other details). The Body and other material to designs I have found amongst rubbish. Tube -"tygon" or silicon. Works it so: 1) stuff (over 0.1g) is sprinkled on lower net and is closed by upper net. 2) This container is fixed on hole overhand heater. 3) External body is Put on with output metallic tube. 4) To tube tygon/silicon connection wire polyethylene package (over 1L) and the other end is put on on output metallic tube. 5) Power "ON - red LED light on. The Scheme of the delay begins counting out 60sec. (this time possible to adjust within 30-90sec handle rezistor. - thereby is obliquely adjusted power of the heating). After 60sec green LED light on -a scheme includes the fan and heated vapour(pair) fills the package. On this leaves else 60-90sec //power of the lamp are chose such that temperature of the heating of the net was within 180-200'C//. 6) Power switch "Off", package leaves with tube =READY! That definately looks doable for me. I'm saving that post. I just went out and bought a GVG today. lol. So I'll see how that works for me. But eventually I'm going to build something. Even if I don't really need it. It's a hobby of mine, I like making things/modifying things.

I used to make many things in to pipes. my fave pipe was an two stage waterbong, one upright on the table, the other one was a beaker inverted with frozen peas bouncing around in the water, that is held in your hand. It would then lead to a gas mask. this mask was my grandfather's gas mask from world war II. the mask was a full face version with the eyeglasses to see out. So you would load up a full massive bowl of bud and light it. the person would be looking at the frozen peas bouncing around in the beaker, then you could see their gas mask fill with smoke, eye glasses swirling with rich organic homegrown cronic from my balcony. The eye glasses would be solid with smoke and the person would try to take off the mask, I would reply "NO! you have to finish the whole bowl" so the person would only get oxygen mixed bud smoke and nothing else. I sware you would come off that bong mask with a face stone!!
Ahhh good times.... miss those days of growing killer cronic and enjoying life stoned with my friends...

Hope that made sense... I can draw a picture of it, or a 3d version of it, if anyone wants. Because that pipe is long gone...
