Introduction…excited to be here!

New Sneakers

To shrink your head, first expand your mind.
Just wanted to say hello now that I’ve finally made an account. I’ve been a long-time lurker, and this site has been massively helpful to me over the past two years.

I also want to express the incredible amount of respect and gratitude I have for this molecule. It has given me the most profound and humbling experiences of my entire life, and has been a major part of my journey of self-improvement. Paired with yoga and meditation, it has shown me the path forward after a pretty terrible period in my life following a divorce. There are not a lot of people who you can talk to about this stuff, so it’s really great that this community exists!

Thanks for the thoughtful replies, everyone. I know that quoting McKenna is kind of hackneyed at this point, but what he said about DMT being “the secret that can’t be told” really resonates with me. Every time I do it, I feel like I’m being given a gift. It’s not often that you are completely moved to tears by the sheer beauty and power of something. I always think of that movie Contact where she is trying to describe her experience visiting the alien world. No words…

Haha it REALLY is the secret that cannot be told. You can rant about its' nature and your experience to a rapt audience for DAYS and they still won't get it. It goes WAY beyond sex and WAY beyond LSD on the secret that cannot be told but must be experienced aspect. It's an open secret that remains a mystery/fantasy until one actually picks up the pipe . . . And then LOL, no matter how much or how long one has researched and sought (21 years here) it's always a HUGE surprise . . . .

Heck if I'm being honest, after thousands of exposures, it's still always got only one guarantee coming up as far as I can determine and that is surprise.
