I have had my arm twitch about while tripping, seems more likely when I mix with nitrous. I think it might have happened from nitrous alone too, but dmt alone as well. Is this a problem? Also im 95% positive it isn't from lack of oxygen, im usually breathing when it happens.

It usually happens when im really entranced or am in the middle of losing touch and it stops when I become aware.

I've had this happen to me before. Usually when I am beginning to break through I will start shaking.

I've seen someone else do it too. He did it really bad. He was really fighting it and ended up having a bad trip. He was trying not to let go and it translated into physical shaking. That's what I think it might be linked to. But I'm not sure. It could just be from the adrenaline.

But with nitrous, the twitching happens a lot. I've seen someone pretty much convulsing from too much nitrous before. I've mixed dmt with nitrous and usually I'm more physically calm. This has happened to me on DMT alone though.

I have had twitches whilst working with spice, as well as full on spasms that throw me around the bed!

Any idea if this is a negative side effect or concerning to your health at all or if its just something that happens sometimes. DMT or Nitrous related.

Yeah ive full on convulsed before on nitrous but on spice it seems to be only one arm unless it gets going good and then I might shake a little too.

I only remember spasming once, it was a very large jolt that threw me up in the air, rather than a long group of movements.

No idea on that one here.

I think what I have experienced seems quite similar to jerks/twitches I get whilst going to sleep and sometimes during sleep. Whether they are in any way related I have no idea though.

On a lot of vaped dmt trips I get seemingly possessed and moved about in strange ways. One time it was like entities jumped in me and were cleaning my aura and this caused all types of popping noises and feelings like being electrocuted and I was having muscle spasms. Afterwards though I swear my muscles felt strong and supple like never before.

Sometimes I get the leg kicks on DMT, usually when I'm listening to music. I think maybe I'm trying to subconsciously dance.

The involuntary twitching is called myoclonus. The precise mechanism isn't known but it's thought to be caused by an imbalance in the levels of serotonin and GABA in the motor pathways of the brain. And since DMT is a serotonin agonist and nitrous oxide affects both serotonin and GABA receptors, it's not difficult to see how this could happen.

If it is constant it's a symptom of Kundalini awakening (or so called such). Research on the topic and find how you can work on it.

Science against mysticism.

Science says it is a "bad" thing, mysticism says the contrary. Who will win?

(For experience I bet on mysticism on this case ;) But naturally it can also be that science is right here; the only way to be sure is to look at what happens: in the case of the OP it seems to happen when he goes more into trance, so IMO it is more probable it is tied to Kundalini awakening than GABA or elsewhere it would happen either in other cases)

Anyway, to be sure: does it happen to you also when you are "sober" or only during a DMT trip? For example does it continue in "normal life" for some days after (sometimes, sparsely during the day) after that "trip occurrence" in or not?

Yo, i think it can be both. I don't know, everything said in this thread validated my ideas on this. Try flexing your muscles. It might help. A good yoga session to ease the blood flow. And muscle tissue.

I feel very sensitive to the big vein in my neck when dmt'ing. i believe it is an energy blockade and that proper yoga is the solution.

I don't feel different when it happens and my trip doesn't change in any way I only notice it because my girlfriend tells me when its happening, so I don't feel its "mystical" for me at least. It only happens every now and then but never when im sober, and those weren't the strongest trips either. I'm thinking it could be related to diet or certain nutrients that could be lacking, perhaps a change in serotonin levels or perhaps its similar to moving in a dream like someone else said. Im thinking it might be in some cases for me lowered iron or zinc or whatever nitrous depletes.

magnesium? someone said to me that deificit magnesium in the body causes the jaw twitching while on MDMA

In my experience, as noted in my previous post, I get twitches and spasms both whilst in a hypnagogic state and whilst working with spice. They both feel very similar to me. Doesn’t feel that mystical to me, I think that while working with spice it can modify the journey though.

They are two different things. The twitching that you get while you are falling asleep is a normal occurrence. I will not explain you what is the view of mysticism and occultism on why this happens because it will be too long and off-topic, but it is a different type of twitching (the twitching of Kundalini awakement is A) more strong, B) it is as a sort of "electrical surge", C) it happens when you are perfectly awake ).

The OP was not so clear on the type of twitching he had and he said the it happened mostly when he got more "entranced" (that it usually means, in phsychedelics, that you go on a stronger trance), so I said that if it was *constant* (as in happening all the times in the same exact way) it would have been a sign of Kundalini Awakening.

However after he explained better the thing and then it's obvious this is not the case.

TO MODERATORS: I created this account only because I always reply to people's questions, in every case. But don't worry, I care nothing about joining this community one way or another.

I now understand the type of people that are in this forum. You are the typical guys that cannot never stand to be proven wrong and cannot stand if someone other correct you on some point.

I mean, there's a guy here on a topic that talks about his "crossing the Abyss" (Carlos I think he is called) that it is the most imbecile thing I've heard in all my life (49 Enochian Keys? LOL, they are 19; writing the keys on stones? Good luck on that! OMG). Crossing the Ayss is a SERIOUS thing, it is not a joke, ffs. Do you imagine not being able to say anything to an idiot like that, OMG. It is either dangerous if somebody follows the things the guy says (because he just invented half of it, copying it from one source to the other; I can understand it because I have experience in these things, but can others?). I actually joined just to warn people there but it seems I will not be able to. Oh, well, the slaves shall serve.

Moreover remember this: if you get angry or you think yourself judged for something another one say to you (of whatever nature) then the problem is in yourself. If you get offended you are the one that is not balanced to begin with. If you are sure of what you say there's no need to get offended by what another say, in any circumstance.

Best regards.

that's a self-defeating disclaimer.

Self-defeating on what? They are different symptoms and have different qualities.
Here people say "I'm being confrontational" but yet they never read anything I write and either attack me personally.

That's perfectly fine instead I guess.

and kundalini talk doesn't address the pharmacological issues at hand, i.e. excitatory somatic effects; those are inherent to serotonergic compounds.

Many of the Kundalini symptoms can have effects inherent in the physical body (even started by pharmacology, you can perfectly use a psychedelic to start a Kundalini awakening if you know how to do it), that doesn't change that it can be a Kundalini awakening.

(The "chakras", the "Kundalini", the "ida", the "pingala", the "shushumma" have ALL correspondents in the physical body, they are just terms to define reactions happening in the body, included chemical reactions in the brain).

Dhyana for example is much probably a blood vessel breaking inside the brain, but it is still a well defined mystical experience.
