Involuntary twitching while on dmt?

Migrated topic.

excitatory somatic effects; those are inherent to serotonergic compounds.

I am pretty sure that's what I have experienced, as I came out of a GREAT experience with changa, I excitedly began telling my friend what happened and he started telling me his, I could feel my excitement rising and I started convulsing heavily

I'm not familiar with this whole kundalini thing, perhaps it could be elaborated on a bit more instead of just thrown around as a word everyone 'understands'

As far as my experience, benzyme gave the best explanation

fair enough..

if you feel you have something to contribute, please consider staying.
this is a very diverse community, and you will definitely find others who
observe kundalini-related topics.

I have nothing against this community and I'm sure there are many beautiful people here, but frankly I don't care anymore about playing games of who butt-lick the other more. There's no point for me on wearing the mask of the "politically correct" individual just for the sake of not hurting people's feelings just because they cannot stand someone that says something they can feel as challenging their knowledge.

Yes, I know, it hurts when someone tells you "you are wrong" on something. However it hurts much more to be really wrong and nobody telling you just for not making you feel challenged or offended. Maybe not your ego, but surely your research. As it is said: "mystery is the enemy of truth".

You see, in a forum as this that talks about matters that have to do with internal states it is very very easy to think you are doing the greatest things when you are doing nothing if nobody ever challenges what they think is correct and confront their experiences because it is not allowed. Your mind is the greatest obstacle to your advancement because your mind always want to make you feel the "special" one, the great guy, the one that is never wrong and can never err and that everything you do is perfectly fine and correct. With only your mind as a test of your advancement (as it happens with psychedelics) it is very easy to become someone that thinks him/herself the reincarnation of God sprouting nonsense if you never challenge your point of views and experiences with others.

I've seen it happen so many times in these years, and it has happened to me personally when I just began practicing certain things. The usual personal shield for feeling challenged by other experiences is this: "everything is relative and what it happens to you is not said will happen to me, so if you say that I'm wrong you are just wanting to impose your beliefs upon me". A shame that we humans are made in a certain way and some experiences are the same for everybody. The external experience can vary, but the structure is usually always the same. If it isn't it is because you are doing something incorrect, it is not because you are someone "special" or outside the norm (usually always in better, who knows why, isn't it?) or because you think it is just a matter of different "beliefs"; it is not so. If for example you arise Kundalini to the Shashara and in doing so you don't obtain the so-called "Siddhis", it is not because you are different than you didn't obtain them, it is just that you didn't arise Kundalini properly, because everybody that does will obtain them, invariably. In all disciplines (be it mysticism or magic) there are well defined steps to test your progress and there is a reason why it is so, so pretending that those steps serves nothing because everyone is different is the usual mind trick.

By doing certain things certain things will happen, invariably, and if someone that has experienced that same state tells you that "you are wrong" in something there's nothing to be offended or challenged about it. If your knowledge and practice is correct and you confront openly what the other is saying both of you would greatly benefit from this, no matter who is right. But if you never confront your experience and never want to be "challenged" and always remain closed in your certainties (or presumed so) because you think that "everything is relative", you will never know if you do something wrong.

There's nothing wrong on confronting one another till there's reciprocal respect. If you don't challenge another point of view just so you don't hurt his feelings you are not doing him/her a favor, all the contrary.

I personally wanted to join because I wanted to advise people to don't believe a specific report of a guy here, because it can be dangerous to do so (since it is all faked up). If a beginner would try something like that believing it is true then s/he could encounter problems. But now I see that even if I can make and join I could never be able to do so for the policy of this site that doesn't admit you challenging other experiences because this is "judging" or "offending" them. For me it makes no sense. What it is worse in this case, challenging a false and dangerous report or play the "poliitically correct guy" and even putting people in danger (I personally saw in that thread young people replying very enthusiastically at that report and even considering a sort of masterpiece; this bothers me to no end).

You can also say: "what the hell can you care, make them do what they want". You can be right, but if I have the possibility of sharing what I know and help others why I should not do so? If then I cannot, so be it.

Anyway, my rant is finished. I'm sorry for wasting the time of this community and best of luck for your future.

I always get these twitches in my legs when i take shrooms at the comeup before the psychedelic effects start.
Somehow its connected to my breathing, my focus and my general state of consciousness.
I got these too the first time on Ayahuasca, but somehow i learned how to change the flow of energy so that they don't manifest.
Felt like an subconscious form of anxiety.
When i calmed myself and let myself go, the twitches stopped immidiatly and started again when i lost focus.

I've often felt like I was moving around or twitching but I was actually very still, so said a friend tht was watching over me. I've also felt the bed shaking and it got more intense as I focused on the ceiling and allowed the visual vibrations increase in intensity.

I seem to recall Shuglin talking about this effect in TIHKAL. I'm trying to find my copy to look up the definition. I experienced this once while experimenting with MDA. Sitting on the couch and my right arm just started flopping on its own for a few seconds. If the effect has been defined it can't be all that uncommon.

I signed in looking for a thread just like this. I've experienced twitching multiple times on ayahuasca and spice. I’ve done 13 ceremonies, and most recently I tried some very old and impressively thick cielo vine. It was so beautifully resinous and definitely brought a heavy smack-down to my MAO. I got an annoying twitch in my pectoral muscle that lasted a long time… more irritating than anything.

During my strongest ayahuasca ceremony which I ingested 30g cielo vine and 20g black vine brewed THP method along with 15g chaliponga also THP’d, I developed crazy tremors in my hamstrings specifically. Actually buzzing like shaking that only went away when my wife was massaging my legs through this hugely intense aya experience.

During my first spice breakthrough, which is described here, I had massively uncomfortable tremors and shakes when exiting hyperspace… strong tensing in muscles that left me sore for days. The actual twitching though for me, seems to be accompanied with my MAO being blocked… guess I gotsta eat more bananas when I’m not on an aya-cleanse!! … I think bananas? :p

i know in qui gong part of the point of one standing posture, with your knees bent, is to initiate slight shaking in the legs. this, i've heard said, is chi rising up the leg and hitting blocks and clearing them. i've also tried TRE, which is trauma releaese exercises, that are desgned to get your legs to shake rhythmically of their own accord. black caapi vine is known to be particularly prone to producing energy shakes. one arm could be a different thing but it could be one of your meridians trying to iron out a few flaws.
