Is getting separatory pipette worth it ?

If doing A/B, I would assume you would remove the solid before adding the base by letting the acid soup settle and pour out the liquid only. Then apply the NPS, mix and pour the mixed base soup with NPS into a separatory pipette, put a cap to stop the NPS fumes, wait a few minutes for the NPS to settle on the top, open the valve to pour the non-NPS base soup out from the bottom. Afterwards, pour the NPS into a base water wash flask or directly into a glass tray ?

Seperator Pipette specs:
  • 1,000 ML
  • stop cap E24/29 so no fumes when NPS is settling
  • PTFE valve
  • Drip tip tube or E24/29 ? ( I can't seem to find cheap pear shape with e24/29 bottom )

Questions:
  1. If you have one, what is your experience, best size assuming making a few 1L base soups, pros/cons ? ( If pear shaped, a 1L can do 100 ml ? )
  2. If you pour out the base soup, then doesn't the bottom drip tip get contaminted and there is always a bit left. How does that work ?
  3. If you use a drip tip that is male e24/29 into a e24/29 female flask, there is no possible fumes escaping. Is that the right way?
  4. If you keep the stop cap e24/29 ot the top, the bottom drop tip is connected with e24/29, then when you open the valve how does the liquid move since there is no AIR that can move ? I think you have to remove the cap ?
  5. Do I need to separate the solid ? Is letting it settle enough or you need coffee filter ?
Thank you for feedback, tips and guidance
