length of lye soak

hullo. first time poster, long time lurker.

some dude i know knows another dude who's grandmother got together with some senior citizens and started a STB extract. as shit tends to "happen" it got cut short, and the lye and MHRB powder has now been soaking in a HDPE bucket (covered) for about 2-3 weeks.

i couldn't really find any definitive answer to the question these old crazies asked me, so i am turning to you for help.

is there any DMT destruction from such a prolonged soak? or is it pretty much limitless, and still useable?

SWIM knew a smurf who had done an extraction and just not thrown the waste product away. It had been sat there in various jars for 2 months. However he still claims to have extracted a crystalline psychedelic which produced an intense dream-like state when vapourized. He had already had a worthwhile yield from this solution before he cast it aside and it was definately still noticably active.

It's certainly not to be thrown away. If this is the substance ye seek, I can't say if any degradation occurs over this time but it is certainly not much. Proceed as usual.

I hear the smurf's NaOH solution was particularly potent aswell.

well for anyone interested. my grandma and her crazy assisted living friends tried to used the old MHRB goo, and it got to the consistency of tar while it was sitting there for so long. it seemed no matter how much naptha they added, nothing would resurface after the sloshy shaking.

they gave up after a bit just because they had bought more than enough with the expectation of losing some since it is a first attempt. though, if the mix gets super thick like that does adding a bit of lye & water help (STB method)?

i ask because the next attempt left the my grandmother with a mix that turned real thick overnight, and she thought spilting it into 2 containers and thinning it out would make the naptha pass through to the surface easier.

i'm a big nub and of no help to my grandmother, please forgive me. the many much reading i did made it seem so much easier than it was. good news, however: my grandmother and her toupee wearing friends did get some product out of this rag tag first attempt and the effect was VERY insanely awesome.
