Life on mars!!

Apparently Nasa scientists have reexamined a meteorite they found and think that it contains
bacterial fossils=)=)=)

I would not be to surprised if some kind of life or evidence for previous life was found on mars. Although its tough to say for sure if these fossils really are bacteria or something similar from the evidence presented so far. It would be interesting to see a detailed chemical and isotope analysis of the potential fossils though. Although I am sure that is underway and has already been done to draw the conclusion that the meteorite came from mars.

Although I do think finding life on some other object in the solar system whether its mars or titan or whatever would be one of the most important scientific discoveries ever. It would finally shut people up about their creationist BS Actually it probably wouldn't but it would make them look dumber which is funny. :lol: I honestly don't believe its a matter of "is it there" but more a matter of "when will we find it".

I think they need to start putting plants on Mars now so that we can live there in a few 1000 years.

It'd be cool to help select the first botanicals they put on Mars... I'd probably try to pick some type of super cold hardy DMT containing grass.
