marsofold tek mistake with evap and freezing

Hey guys this is my first post so go easy i have previously used marsofold's tek and had success without any evap. the problem is, this time i got impatient (i know, i already beat myself up for it). i stuck the naphtha/dmt solution in the freezer (in a jar), and then after a day i was reading about people evaporating their solution so they could have more pure results. so stupidly i took the jar out of the freezer and then began to evaporate it down about 50%. here is my problem: i got very impatient and put the solution in a crockpot so that it would evap fast. it did evaporate down about 50% but now it is kind of a pale yellow. i put it back in the freezer and after 3 days there is no crystals whatsoever. did the heat fuck it up?

i started out with 1 pound of MHRB and did everything perfect (up until i used the crockpot to evap it AFTER i had it in the freezer for one day). is this salvageable? Sorry for the noob questions and stuff, but i just want to fix this stuff.

Your not gunna like this but dmt freebase has a very low vapor temp. If you got it hot enough its all probably in the air now. No way to save it if that's the case. Sorry buddy.

You put in in the crocpot and put the heat on??

Most likely your spice is gone, take the solvent and put it in a pyrex dish, leave it to evaporate on its own, no heat source. Then see if there is anything left behind.

Next time, put your naphta in a large pyrex dish, if you are impatient, put a fan to blow on it, when it starts to get cloudy then freeze precip.

Lessons occur on so many levels. You just got one on the virtues of patience. I find it's safer to do smaller extractions for this very reason, if you mess it up, you didn't waste all your source material.

dmt boiling point approx 60-70C (no one has ever came up with a solid temp for some reason) i'm certain your crockpot is close to or higher than that temperature.

shoulda stood over it and sucked in the fumes! (kidding, dont inhale evap fumes. would be rich in solvent.)
