Master Of Plants suspension

Migrated topic.
I think it's important for the mods to tell us when the ban somebody... you know, so we don't think they are dead or in jail (hey it's happened before)!
It's enough to say the bloke was banned. I don't think The Traveller needs to explain that. But if he feels so then of course he does. But this forum has many users and it can become a lot of work explaining every ban here.

Maybe when the DMT-Nexus grows bigger, more problems will arise but for now this is only the second long time suspension of an active member for me. At this point there are only three (formerly active) members suspended for a very long time in the whole existence of the DMT-Nexus.

I very much had the impression that this was a person in psychological distress. Therefore it's too bad it had to go this way. We all like a little attention now and then, some people from childhood on grow a habit of getting it by negative behaviour. For instance if they where always bullied by other children. If people in a sense 'learn' that the only way to get attention is by getting negative attention, people often choose this option above getting no attention at all.
I think it would be a positive thing to try to break these negative patterns. We all have patterns we would want to break anyway except for those of us who're completely perfect in every way. And since this is a forum blessed with the presence of deeply spiritualy and psychologically interested people this could be a place for such things. This is the DMT-Nexus; we've all seen the inside of our own souls and the importance of compassion, forgiving and doing what is right.
This might be futile remarks, but i just had to make them. Probably my misserable way of getting attention.

Wouldn't it be the bully who is trying to get the attention, acting out in negative behavior?

Giving someone attention for bad behavior, enforces it & makes them do it more & more often to get more attention.
Many people around here tried to ask MoP to give reasons for his statements or discuss them with him, trying to give him attention for something positive & include him.
He not only did not respond to this, he got insulting with people & just posted more & more BS when people engaged him at all.
So the next logical step would be to stop giving him any attention & hopefully he will figure out that people ignore him when he acts like a jerk.

Like others have said, he was probably just a child or a troll.
(I'm assuming that troll means some twit who posts confrontational bullshit on web forums just to get a charge out of the people who are there to contribute.)
Let him find another bridge to live under...

And if he was in psychological distress, a web forum based on psychedelics is probably not the place he needs to be hanging around right now anyway.
One needs real social situations to help with social disorders, not virtual-social situations.

the boy was annoyingly childish and seemed only to take from the beautiful energy we have all contributed to here.

...truthfully i never believed the child ever even TRIED spice!!

....oh, wait a minute...i believe he claimed to have done it "like 10,000 times"..... i'm all for being in touch with your inner child energy...but MOP was just a child. period. this site and the wisdoms it represents really can't support that lack of respect.

LOVE AND GRATITUDE!

I haven't posted here in a while, I can't say I'm surprised that he got banned. I feel kinda relieved too, perhaps I'll even post here more, I found myself skipping over entire topics because his posts were everywhere.

The Traveler does a great job moderating.

A Cyber-casualty.
Even being anonymous couldn't hide that.

Travler, I know you don't want to have to be the guy has to do that kind of thing, but do not feel bad, in this case you are not the bad guy!!

He wasted our time.

As usualy warrensaged I couldn't have said it better myself.

Traveler, you shouldn't be getting crap from anyone for suspending people. I've never seen you suspend ANYONE without trying very hard to personally work with that person on their issues.

Thank you Traveler!

I think in this case, we've all failed in establishing a healthy way of communicating. Although that might have been innevitable.

I don't quite understand, Poly could you please expand on your comment?

Not supporting disrespect is not failed communication! It is removing a memeber that IS preventing others from communicating in a healthy way. We can't allow the forum to become less than what it is simply to try in vain to teach 1 unwilling person to communicate better, can we?

You're right. But it's just tragic and i don't like the massively bashing of a person who obviously isn't doing too well, emotionally.
And i think that the DMT experience shows that each soul and each life is of value and that it's always worth trying to get a person to break with patterns of negativity. I think in a sense some of us have tried to give positive attention instead of the negative attention he was seeking for, to establish normal communication. It sadly didn't work out. For those of us who seek for positivity that's just as sad.
It's like when saying 'hey, you can act positively just as well' and the person you say this to, doesn't listen. The attempt to break the pcircle of negativity failed.

The bashing is a little unnecessary and may do as much harm to the forums as MOP, himself. Traveler has represented the general sentiment forums sufficiently in his actions. Support for his decision can be voiced without the expense of decency.

I too think the bashing is not needed. I also think what could be said has been said and it's time to close this chapter. So hereby I lock this topic and let it rest in piece.

Kind regards,

The Traveler

Thanks for explaining that, I agree with you. Bashing is not needed. It is sad that all attempts to help this person didn't work. I wish him the best and hope he gets the help he needs.
