Is it just me or are people seemingly inherently… dumb?
Oh, to tie this in with psychs, i’ve been micro-dosing acid etc etc but ok ok hear me out:
The Alien franchise and the Halloween franchise; two of the franchises that have stayed with me throughout life, both with highs and (mostly) lows, but what i’m tryna get at is… man, people just don’t even understand what they’re consuming.
Michael Myers is not a person and hasn’t been since he killed his sister back in the day; he’s a vessel that houses some unknown entity here strictly to kill people. They say this in the movies *multiple* times and someone on reddit asked where in the canon this is even hinted at lmaooooo.
Wow.
Alien. Another franchise with many lows, and very few highs, but i’ve always found the core mechanic to be pretty straightforward (“goo” administration really varies how/what the outcome will turn out to be blahblahblah) but like. ok people saying it’s the queen alien being depicted in the ampule room in Prometheus it’s just… asinine.
Again ya ya call me out or whatever if you don’t feel this is an appropriate forum for this particular rant but i’m tryna connect with people’s and talk about shit during a trying time in my life so respond - or don’t - whatever.
