Mimohuasca - nothing happened

Eating the seeds like that is not reliable, you'd need to wait at least 30 mins before taking the dmt

To prepare the tea, grind 3.5g per person in a coffee grinder and simmer for 30 mins. Keep enough water to have about a cup each at the end. Without grinding you should simmer it longer, 2h should be good.

If you haven't had a successful trip yet, do not take more than 5g mimosa. I would recommend starting with 3.

For the mimosa you can prepare it same as rue, if it's powdered 30 mins simmer is enough

Once you prepared both teas, drink the rue 10 mins before the mimosa
Many thanks for the help. I waited until I try Syrian Rue tea method and see the results.
Again I didn't have any trip. I assume syrian rue has no effect on me.
Since the first time that I used a little caapi vine, I had a touch of the trip but SR had never made me a trip.

I brought my syrian rue from Iran and they seems to be quite fine. They are very cheaper compared to caapi and also easier to use. That's why I tried them over caapi.

What do you think could be wrong with me here?

Impossible. Most likely, you have very weak seeds, or your preparation method is subpar.
Cook 5g of Syrian rue seeds by themselves for 30 minutes and drink the mixture. If even that produces nothing, you can look into extracting from them.
First, find a working solution for harmalas, and only then add any mimosa to it.

I grinded 3.5g rue in a mortar, put them in a tea bag filter and boiled them in medium heat about 1.5 hour and remained about a cup.
Then I drank it and waited 30 min, and then I drank the dmt.
I could feel a little light headed and dizziness but nothing more than that.

I have another question that both Mimosa drink and rue tea had residue when they sit in a glass in the bottom. Should I drink that too or it should be strained?

Ditch any teabag filters; just use a simple sieve. Bits of plant matter are fine. As I said, grind 5g and cook them hard for 30 minutes in like 500ml of water.

Better to drink plain rue tea until you can feel its effects or use a very small amount of mimosa (like no more than 2g).

A bit of plant matter is fine. At this point, you want to drink everything. Experiment only when you have a somewhat working tea.

Really thanks for the help.
I'm trying to make a new set now.

Should I still grind the 5g seeds before hard boiling and add vinegar to it?

What kind of effects should I expect when I drink rue tea?

And how long after drinking rue tea, should I drink mimosa brew?

Yes, although vinegar needn't be used if your water isn't alkaline. A pinch/scoop* or two of ascorbic acid - vitamin C *[an 80mg scoop] - or of citric acid would be preferable to vinegar since the odour of acetic acid adds nothing positive to the experience!
[EDIT: SAFETY NOTE - an 80mg dosing scoop is typically provided with ascorbic acid - do not exceed the recommended dose! Doing so may cause stomach pain and can even be dangerous!]

A stiff dose of rue tea will produce visual trails and an analogous echoing effect in the auditory sphere. Dream-like visions are likely to appear. On account of the dizziness and general delay in sensory feedback, it's best to remain in a reclined position. On closing your eyes, you are likely to drift away into wholly convincing dream scenarioes, many of which could contain some kind of teaching parable.

Depending on the dose, there is likely to be a level of nausea which may lead to vomiting, especially with higher doses, so be prepared! The nausea may diminish on subsequent doses as one becomes more accustomed to the medicine.

A dedicated daily dosing regimen of rue-only brews will allow one to dial in ones 'sweet spot' where the desired level of effects can be achieved without them becoming incapacitating. For example, over the course of a month you could start with a barely noticeable amount and then increase it by 0.1 or 0.2g, maybe a tad more, on each subsequent dose until it gets close to 'too much' - you'll know! Then you can more or less gradually reduce the dose until the effects become manageable.

This approach will not be suitable for everyone, as you'll need to be prepared to take six to eight hours out of a day when in the high-dosing phase. It may also carry the risk (besides the matter of bodily incoordination) of putting you off the taste of rue tea for life.

Start looking into rue extraction just in case, but rue tea is still its own special thing.

drink the mimosa 5-10 min after the rue.

I tried this method of making SR tea.

Usually, when I take any form of rue (raw or as tea), the effects start to appear about an hour after consumption. This time, however, I didn’t really feel much, and after about 40 minutes I decided to take the DMT drink anyway.

Right after I took it, I felt the need to purge, but no matter how hard I tried, I couldn’t. This caused a stomachache that I couldn’t relieve myself from. I had tried DMT before, but this experience felt different — it was more like a drug trip, and I had a kind of mental war going on, with lots of uncontrollable thoughts. I tried a few more times to purge because I felt it would make things better, but it never happened. I don’t think I drank more than 2.5 g, and the effects lasted nearly 5 hours.

How much ascorbic acid did you use? The scoop provided with my vit. C powder contains a nominal 80mg.

What do you mean by

when previously you had been saying that you experience no effects? This doesn't seem to add up.

I didn’t have a pH meter, so I measured approximately, but I think I added more than I was supposed to.

Normally, I take the DMT drink after about 20–30 minutes, so I assumed the effects I was feeling were from the DMT — just not hitting fully.

After your explanation about the effects of Syrian Rue, I realized that what I felt was likely caused by the rue and not the DMT.

There's a possibility that you're involuntarily suppressing the effects. Have you had experiences with other psychedelics? If so, how have they been?

I've seen people that appeared to have no effects from psychedelics, until they reached a very large dose. At that dose, they couldn't suppress it anymore and a hellish experience ensued due to all the resistance being forcefully overcome. Stanislav Grof reports similar cases.

I've had myself the experience of suppressing the effects of 25mg 2C-B that I had in a bad setting.

How much would you estimate that you added? A teaspoon? A tablespoon? Excessive doses of ascorbic acid will indeed cause stomach pain…

Apologies for failing to define the size of a 'scoop' - despite it being in the context of "a pinch". I'll reiterate that it's an 80mg scoop, and add a note to the relevant post.

Am I the only one who roasts the seeds first? Make em pop! But don't burn em.

I used to do this, but stopped doing so after trying out a range of variathons variations while dialling in my preferred rue method. Roasting does cause a bit of a reduction in potency but you can huff the fumes to make up for that a bit 😂

Hm, I may have to go home and see how 3g hits without roasting. Maybe a cannabis rue ceremony is in order.

And @dithyramb already rubbed off on me and I huff the fumes for potential health as well as spiritual benefits 😁

In the dark, aside from candles illuminating a amethyst cluster and overhead nebula lights, sitting at my altar with a blanket laid beside the mat (@northape How you like them apples), sipping my 2g of rue while packing my cannabis bowl, adding a little bubble hash, the taste enlightens me as to what's to come.

Shit ain't started yet and I already know it's about to be good.

I have tried 5-MeO-DMT and DMT before. Later, I used MDMA pills for a while, but the effects became weaker each time. The last time I used MDMA was two years ago, and I didn’t feel anything except extreme tiredness. Could this be the reason?

I didn’t think it was important to measure, so I just poured it directly from the bottle. I guess I used more than I was supposed to. I think it’s better if I get a pH meter.

Don't take offense, but check your family line for any mental disorder. It's better to be safe than sorry.
Further, people vary in their responses, and you need to learn how to be sensitive to your own mental constitution.
How can strangers on the internet know anything about you? It's just common sense. You've got all the guidelines on what to do and how to brew rue tea.
It's not rocket science, and if you struggle with something so simple, maybe it's time to reassess your goals.
We are quite patient here, but repeating the same thing over and over would get to anyone. All the best on your path 🙏

The dose makes the poison. It's of the utmost importance to measure. Depending on your dose, you get poison or medicine.
