Hello, somebody did the nomans tek with mimosa and wonders if he can smoke the spice now?
Could there be remains of NAOH in there? How is it to take that orally, possible or not ?
added a picture after 3h of freeze of solution, please help me.
The guy used only the best chemicals free of trace amount of other things..





The white dots on the sides are almost white, only slight trace of yellow is there..

Is there anyone that has any experience with taking that spice oral? dangerous or not if you extract with lye.

Please state: proceedure used, amount of bark, lye/base, solvent per pull, was the pull heated or not, how long one mixed before making each pull, what is the source of the bark, etc.

Blurred pictures of some dish with some barely discernible spots in it, for example, are not of much use to really understand whats going on, and much less to know about the purity of your stuff .

Thats nice to hear, this is my first time but I did stick to nomans pdf closely and used good chems. I will see in a day and report back here.

So if you did the sodium carbonate wash in noman's tek there is absolutely no chance there is lye in your final product.

And even if there was, if you are going to consume orally, predissolve your dmt in an acidic juice before drinking, and any traces of lye (which wont be there anyways) would be neutralized and you'd be fine.

Of course it can be neutralized.

ok, thanks endless. I did another wash and get rid of some oily stuff and so on..

now this is my latest result: Is this spice now ?

Dry it out fully first, it makes it much easier to see. It does look like spice, just a bit wet and slushy.

It was still oily and scraped it to orange goo stuff... then soaked it another time in nap to get crystal and stuff...

well after that its still oily but theres barely anything left:x

Is it that to get crystal you need much more material and your amount of dmt coming out is very low then ?

Please read the FAQ for instructions on recrystallization. Don't just 'soak in naphtha'. If you didn't use enough naphtha, then it didn't dissolve all your DMT. And if it was room temperature, it wont be good enough to separate the impurities from the rest of DMT. Hopefully you didn't wash away your container and discard the oil that was left behind, because that for sure contained more of your DMT. If you still have that, run warm naphtha on it and freeze. And check FAQ instructions I linked earlier.

DMT doesn't just dissapear, that's why we always say for people not to throw anything away till they are finished and happy with results.

I will take a break and study the site here because I dont want to waste more material just because im a bit stupid right now

Guess it takes time to understand all of this... In the spiritual realms everything seems so easy but it is not that way in real world.

Cool beans, looks a bit dark in places, looks like slight base layer contamination, I would do a re-x. But yes it's DMT.
