Following your progress with interest. Mimosas acacias are both too tropical for my clime, but nonetheless i came across a very big pudica yesterday, i think anyway. I'll shoot some pics next time I'm out there. It's already dropped almost all of its phyllodes, and more then likely to long ago to be worth collecting, but there's always next year.
