Mod availability issue

So, as Minty recommended the Geekvape Aegis Solo, places have them in the UK but here in the states I cannot get them unless I have someone 3rd party ship it to me, so thats going to be a no go it seems

What are options that are going to work as well that are available in the states?

I also cant seem to figure out what is a good search criteria to produce results (i know we cant directly point to sites) that I could acquire the mesh pro stuff or a string of stainless mesh. Maybe im stupid, im definitely a noob to all things vaping.

I did happen to order some Nautilus 3 tanks so I can unscrew them when not in use and not leak the stuff out. I lost so much spice already from that.

Im still dialing in and getting used to vapors as I dont smoke, previously many of my visual experiences were dull pastels and a couple times reality was warped to where my life was as miniscule as a forgotten baseball card in a hoarders house lol.

Inhaling at a timed pace with a near choking heat(to me) recently yielded the most beautiful imagery while my eyes were closed. Im not an artsy person but that show makes me tear up thinking about it. Heh, just before that she didnt play so nice though lol.

My current base unit is a freemax100 currently running a smok TFV18 with a .23 Ohm coil running 50w. It seems to consume a lot of fluid, and maybe thats from leaking too.

Vape juice was a peach flavored 70vg 30 pg, im going to get some 100% PG and VG to make my own proper solutions.


Ive tried to get on discord but those guys tech support us absolutely stupid. It kept asking me to verify my location, but would NEVER send me an email. I tried with a support ticket and they were less helpful than misplaced furniture in the dark. FML. >.> So, I cant log in to discord at all.

Hey, nice to have you here, welcome. When it comes to vapes available in the US, I can’t really advise you since I’m not there. But it’s absolutely fine to discuss vapes ( not including any drug filled ones) share links, and talk about prices here. In fact, I think it’s a good thing if we have plenty of discussions about devices.

The only issue is when something turns into promotion for specific companies. In that case, moderation steps in. Otherwise, there’s no problem talking about it openly.

There are plenty of members from the US who can probably give you solid advice, but in the end of the day, you just need a sub-ohm vape, and in my experience, most of them work just fine.

I can't say exactly what could be acquired in US as I'm in EU but the criterion you need to check first is tank diameter compatibility. Any single battery 80-100w mod should do the job as long as it allows the tank size-wise. Check that the mod has TC (Temperature Control) mode if you plan to use it with e-mesh, although I wouldn't recommend this mode as it could be unreliable according to the mod you use. Power/watts mode can provide same results in a more universal way with less risk than TC, whether you use e-mesh or e-juice.
Anyway, why would you change the mod as you already seem to have a Freemax 100 ? Which from what I see should do the job finely. The most important part anyway is not the mod, it's the tank.

As I said, the mod seems ok, I'd just seek for another tank and ensure it has top airflow (to avoid leaks) and not a too big juice capacity (to soak the wick correctly when not much juice is left). The TFV18 doesn't meet any of those criteria. I don't know this tank and coils in particular but anyway, 50w seems quite high to me, I'd rather try to make more concentrated juices if possible (DMT/PG-VG base ratio-wise) and use lower power as a general approach. A more or less standard and commonly used stuff could be the Geekvape Zeus Sub-ohm tank, which has top airflow and can be used with 5,5ml capacity as well as 2ml according to the glass used, but again, I don't know US market availability. The one I currently use doesn't seem to be available on US market, it's the BD Vape Precisio Sub-ohm tank and that's definitely the one I would recommend.

That a good thing. I wouldn't go over 50% VG anyway and also, I'd definitely avoid aromas in the juice, they should add unwanted risk and also hide the nasty taste when things turn bad. Go for neutral base.
