I've only had a breakthrough from ayahuasca, which doesn't generally have the sudden, blast-off intensity that smoking does. But for me, the most intense part is just the huge amount of life I can experience simultaneously. Zillions of thoughts, feelings, and visions combined with traveling vast distances of space and time, all experienced together. It's ridiculous how big I can be and how much can be packed into a single moment.
