When It comes to DMT , 95% of the time I would say no , DMT has its own built in amazing soundtrack.
But having said that one of my very best experiences , I had music on .

I thought I would have a change and have some music on this time , so I decided on Shpongle , very trippy chill dance.
So in I went with the music on , but as I exhaled the second Pull , it took a turn for the worst , I won't get into it now ,
but to say it was ruining the experience, was a understatement. 🥺
I was loosing all bodily functions but I had to stop it ! Seriously had to stop it , All I could do was slide across the floor and attempt to punch and poke the thing untill it stopped .

But the next night after a good think about what went wrong , I thought I'll give it another go.
This time I chose a more appropriate tune .
To me DMT is many things , but mostly loving , sensitive ? and definitely childlike .

So I chose classical : Johann Pachelbel Canon in D , for my warm up , deep controlled breathing , preparing myself .
Followed by : Passacaglia by GF Handle Alexander , For the beginning , and a about 3 minutes in a soundtrack
from a film , : Merry Christmas Mr Lawrence , for the second part .

Again I won't go into what happened, but when I say the word incredible doesn't even come close, it was one the most remarkable experience I've ever had !! and I've had a few 😊
Especially Merry Christmas Mr Lawrence. The Realm itself Imbraced it , it loved it !! It/we became it .
Just Astonishing.

So what do you all think , what floats you boat, have you tried classical ?

As a very newcomer to DMT i havent tried music but I have thought about it and I cant help but think I would like to try. I listen almost exclusively to psychedelic trance anyway so ibfeel like it would be suitable.
I love trance but not with DMT , it's got to be gentle. It's nothing like other psychedelics.

Tbh im completely new to psychedelics. Other than doing a couple of small mushroom doses in the past (and im talking 25 years ago) and 1 night of DMT last weekend im an absolute beginner.

Thanks for the advice. Maybe some meditation music?

Ill be honest I was hoping tontry it listening to some Omiki because he makes a lot of psytrance tracks with tribal chanting in it.

Yea anything Give it a go , your know immediately if it's working or not . You don't know until you try 😊
I'm a 90's Trance and Techno DJ so I have a deep love for it .

Large quartz singing bowl

Which shpongle song was it?
It was the second or third track on the album museum of consciousness, great album I like it a lot , normally
Yes quartz singing bowl sounds interesting.

Their D.M.T. song was always nice to dance to on changa back in the day. Some of their songs are quite fitting but others are the opposite...though a lot of that obviously depends on set/setting/etc.

Yea that's quite a mad one , Shpongle is extremely inspired by DMT . Back in my day I had never heard of DMT
it was all ecstasy 😊 all night and all day , often in the woods .

I think I have vaped DMT to music once. I never found myself drawn to adding anything to the experience in general, though, other than the most peaceful setting I can conjure. In the back of my mind, I always figured that if an experience were to go unexpectedly deep (which does occur), I wouldn't be in a position to hear any background noise or music anyway. I have considered trying some in the future, but it all depends on where I am vaping. I don't think I would try adding any background sounds to a trip if I were situated outside.

Yes you would assume if in deep one would not hear the background music , or it would interfere with the experience and I agree , but in this case I didn't breakthrough on my own , I took the music and oddly my speakers in with me , It seemed to incorporate it into a beautiful experience.. .
I've only done it one myself I'm pretty much strictly silence . But it was quite the unique experience.

Curated music. Music’s an essential tool for initial navigation into hyperspace for me. The wrong sounds can cause difficulty. I love the harder end of techno, but I think it would be unhelpful out there.

Currently my iTunes has a playlist named Vaporize:

Autechre — Chatter
Symmetry — Speedy J
Utuba — Beaumont Hannant
Parasight — Balil

[All tracks from Artificial Intelligence II]

Yes hard techno would be unhelpful on Dmt , but there are or was ? Great molecules that go hand in glove with that energy 😁.

I wish I could trust playing with something blisteringly hard, I’m sure it give an interesting experience!

No way... I was an early 2000s hard trance/hard house dj. I also dabbled in a bit of Techno (most Mauro Picotto style) and also enjoyed Acid Techno.
You will find a good few hard trance tunes in my set , and lots of labels like hoog choons and platipus ....
Don't DJ now but still a massive part of me 95-2004 was epic .

Mine also - but add acid techno (cluster, SUF, smitten), hard house, a few breaks and… just about anything from jazz to pop to funk and disco to the mix… the joy of really rocking a party is delightful. One time it was even necessary to call a structural engineer afterwards
