my aya predicament

I've been starting to look into ayahuasca and i was thinking about trying it. my problem is the maoi. i take an ssri antidepressant and i wasn't sure if that would cause a reaction with the maoi's in the brew. same issue with changa. i could stop taking them for a while if i need to, it wouldn't be that big of a deal. im not like suicidal when im not on them, i just get irritated easily. idk if anyone has this issue or if it is an issue so i would really appreciate any advice or thoughts

Yeh, SSRI+MAOI is no good. If you're going to take aya, you should stop taking the SSRI quite a while beforehand. Most prescription drugs come with a sheet which should tell you how long beforehand you should stop taking the SSRI before taking any MAOIs; as it does differ from drug to drug.
