I just wanted to share a little bit about myself, some of my thoughts about the nexus and my dmt experience so far.
After a couple of months reading thru the forum as a guest, I've finally decided to join in, to really make worth of the learning, the sharing and most importantly the expanding.
I've spent most of my teenage years smoking hashish and marijuana quite heavily, just before moving onto LSD and mushrooms in my 20s... took a break in my 30s, just traveling and working around the world as a dj/entertainer/musician. I am 42.
For some reason, I recently got the call back from hallucinogens: I'm waiting to grow my first salvia plant and in the last couple of weeks I got my hands on a gram of freebase dmt and a few grams of changa (50% Pure DMT + 15% passionflower + 10% banisteriopsis caapi stem + 10% banisteriopsis caapi leaves + 7,5% lotus nymphaea caerulea + 7,5% virola peruviana + 1% hawthorn berry).
As soon as I received the freebase, although completely inexperienced with vaping, I anxiously tried in a couple of ways: plastic bottle+foil and light bulb. I soon realised vaping dmt is not the easiest task: got myself a couple of interesting trips but nothing extraordinary I must confess. Searching and reading thru nexus, I've realised there was a pretty big chance that I was vaping incorrectly or I was dealing with poor quality dmt. At my third attempt I tried the sandwich with 50mg, and the intensity of the trip got definitely better... moved onto 80mg with better results and finally to 100mg for what I considered my best dmt trip since we met.
Then changa showed up, and after reading so much about it I gave it a go straight away: 50mg in glass pipe just to test the waters, and it was truly an intense experience, way further out than my latest freebase one... ok, I'm starting to have some real good fun! I am starting to learn the importance of the settings, state of mind and the importance of letting go of fears and most importantly expectations.
This morning I felt joyous and creative... around 12:00 I loaded 100mg changa in glass pipe again... I've notice in my past trips that obscurity gives a certain depth to the journey and I decided to wear a beanie over my eyes. Long and very slow empty lungs hit and... gone.
Passed the whole geometry and rotating patterns I went... I cannot describe nor recall all of it honestly, but I can certainly say... WOW! This one was way further out I've ever been in my whole life, the complexity and the reality of the realm I was introduced to goes way behind words, and I am really happy about it. Along the way, I specifically recall that my body was completely gone, and for a moment I truly believed I was not coming back from this one... coming down, the only difference from the previous experiences was a very strong physical and visual effect that lasted for about 3 minutes I guess... the closest thing I can think of is an earthquake effect: my whole body (now back) shaking along with walls and sounds in my ears... went for a shower, trying to make sense of it all, and I obviously couldn't. Slowly afterwards things ease down, and I am totally back... writing and sharing this one with you all.
When I looked at the clock, it was 13:00 - a full hour was gone... and I feel very happy about it.
Happy and safe trips to everyone.
