My Uncle's First Time

I thank you all for all the wonderful information everyone provides and appreciate the warm welcoming I've already received.

My uncle met Dimitri tonight in his most horrible form, and was told He needs to seriously address my drug use. He vomited, which He believes was from a possible contamination (or more then likely excess petroleum distillate not evapping fully after freeze) but regardless He was told two major things, he saw something or someone telling him to, "Stop overthinking everything; you need to right now!" And the other thing was his small etizolam addiction. He's practically out after going through 30mg (over the course of two weeks more days then not). His weed addiction is okay with him. It's sustainable with no negative repercussions .

Not sure best way to get off etiz. It's only been 11 days so far of on and off use. I'm thinking about telling my uncle to get rid of everything and going sober for a little bit, at least two weeks . Probably going to titrate the same as I would with my suboxone taper. Maybe smoke here and there. Dimitri definitely had some naphtha or plant/lye mixture contamination and my uncle puked. Going to monitor hia health. Mental health after trip is stronger then ever which is saying a lot (he's been going through some rough times).

Having to be responsible about drug use is impossible as a raging addict. I love you guys, please be safe unlike my uncle. He rushed things and is paying the price in yield and everything else. .

Next round is much clearer with no additives. All white. Hopefully flushing and repeating the process helped, looks like it did.

Tho I don't know He's even worthy of what it has to offer. Uncle is going to take a week off of all substances before trying again.

Sorry to hear that man. I would say to ween him off substances over a slow period of time to prevent relapse, perhaps starting with the more harmful stuff first. Maybe you could disregard weed entirely.

It's a shame his first time with DMT was polluted - do you recall the brand of Naphtha used? Psychedelics have had some profound effects in helping with drug addiction, and they themselves are not physically addictive, so I think your plan to have him try clean DMT a little later is wise, provided he is ready for it.

Physically and mentally he's ready again. But needs a healthier diet and lifestyle to enjoy it. Otherwise puking every time he dabs it with a Quartz nail is going to turn him off quickly.

He used ronsondol, freeze precip, pulled a little early as only 50ml was used (after failed pulls in mason jars, absorbed remains and put into Pyrex for easier scraping with press and seal). From what I read recently it's just a petroleum distillate and has no other (to my knowledge) additives.

He's been clean from heroin for 5 years. On suboxone for 3 of those years, down to 2 .7mg tablets daily. Lots of rough times leading to poor decisions on his end. Uncle repeated the cycle, just substituting one substance for another. Bupe withdrawal is even harder then heroin withdrawal from what I hear... every time he has experienced it it's been horrible.

So to summarize, he used 99% food grade sodium hydroxide microbeads, and ronsondol after an hour or two of gently agitation. Freezed for 12 hours, couldn't get anything out of mason jars so he redisolved in room temp/warm ronsondol and put on Pyrex. 12 hours later maybe a bit more pulled and put under a fan for a while to try to evap the remaining solvent (it was kind of pasty from what I heard)

This may had been a rough experiace but He has so much more appreciation and knowledge on the process. Next time no stupid lighter fluid. Shredded purple dye didn't seem to be the problem (mhrb). Maybe the fan? Maybe didn't leave in freezer long enough? I don't know too many variables. Thanks for all any any kinds of help. He will treat it with the respect it deserves next time, hopefully soon (after sobering up a bit)

My only concern with stopping hash oil and weed is how much it's helped his day to day mindset. He's been happier and semi healthier then ever mentally.

P.S: Using Metacetin has been wonderful lately for him. I don't know why something so similar structurally would cause him to vomit so much. Better stick to just that if any psychedelic at all.
