Seeing as we have been blessed with this great force we know as Nature, I know many of you here take the opportunity to make the outdoors part of your experiences.
I thought it might be nice to share our favorite places to "hike".

So here is a summation of my summer:

Nice rock in the middle of the stream to sit on.

These trees have the deepest purple bark and brightest green foliage when looked at in the right light.
This place has been transformed into a cathedral many times.

Those are some spectacular pictures Eden. Lately I've been increasingly inspired to go out and seek such nature encounters.

'There are forces friendly to our struggle to birth ourselves as an intelligent species. But they are quiet and shy; they are to be sought, not in the arrival of alien star fleets in the skies of earth, but nearby, in wilderness solitude, in the ambience of waterfalls, and yes, in the grasslands and pastures now too rarely beneath our feet.' - Terence McKenna (Food of the Gods).

I like that quote Morphane. It's so true. Mother earth is the being we need to connect with. And the sun.

I envy you Eden. I'll have to take some pictures of my favorite places before it gets too cold....gives me a couple of months.

Ha, good, I look forward to seeing your spots. If I'm the only one sharing this will just be a thread of me flaunting my surrounding landscapes. :)

Gorgeous gorgeous Eden. Do you live in Pennsylvania...this reminds me of parts up there. Thanks for posting.
