need help with ACRB TEK 100g "PICS" (Newbie Friendly)

I cant post on the tek thread otherwise id ask there. hopefully someone whos is familiar on this tek will see this. i am really confused on the mini A/B part

CLEAN UP STEPS
Step 1
In a glass bottle with a thin neck approx 1ltr in size , in this bottle place approx 500ml water with you're choice of acid to get a ph 2-3 as before !

Step 2
place into this acidic water you're naphtha pulls that has been pulled from the basic soup !


Important
Now rock or swirl this gently for as long as it takes to fully exchange the saturated naps to the acidic water
( roughly 10-15 mins ) Stop important pls read below ... !
When mixing the dmt enriched nps with the acidic water the fat content and some minuet plant dust ( depending on how finely powdered the bark ) will seperate in between the two layers and if shaken violently or roughly it can break up the brown fatty substance into smaller pieces which will then get caught up and form a fatty emulsion which will be very hard to break and can trap valuable dmt enriched liquid so please mix cautiously ! Thumbs up

Step 3
Now pipette or siphon out all the naphtha along with the brown fatty liquid that sits animated in between the two layers and discard this as it contains the plant fats and oils and no longer contains any alkaloids !!

Now the 500ml acidic water solution contains the dmt !


how does this work so i have naptha 250-300 ml from original pulls. i then make a new acidic solution with 500ml water do i just add 50-60 ml of white vinegar and nothing else then put the naptha on top of the new acidic solution. if naptha is suppose to "grab" all the dmt from my base soup why would it let go of them when place on top of this acidic solution?

sorry if this is a dumb question but i really dont understand whats happening here and would like to know

It would no longer hold the DMT because the freebase would become acetate in the presence of vinigar. And dmt-salt is not soluble in NPS.

Now, this is the tek I started using since I've more easily been able to get acrb. And I ended up reordering the steps to eliminate the mini a/b.

I'll also not that the mini a/b is not totally necessary, but a good idea in order to get a less oily product.

The way I revesed steps.

BEFORE BASIFICATION add naptha to the acidic bark soup, swirl for a good while, I also use a hot water bath but not too sure if it makes a difference on this step. Let everything separate, you'll see three layers, acidic soup, fats/oils, clean naptha. The remaining clean naptha became my defatting naptha, throw away the oils.

Now basify, and continue the extraction like normal skipping the mini a/b

thanks for the reply one last question should my naptha on top become crytal clear or stay a little foggy i let sit and rotated calmly for a good hour

So ime, naptha will remain clear until it can hold no more DMT (assuming you are talking about pulling DMT freebase)

So HOT naptha saturated with dmt will remain clear, but as it starts to cool to room temp DMT will crash out and make the naptha appear cloudy. The colder the naptha gets the more DMT will crash out.

The cloudiness settles to the bottom in the freezer overnight and you can pour the now clear again naptha off leaving wet freebase DMT that needs to be dried to remove the last of the naptha
