I'm amazed at the pure ignorance in my country when it comes to politics.
How every single person can't see what the Tea Klan and republican party are doing is amazing to me.

Let's see how about we deregulate business that make us rich like Banks and oil companies...and oh while we're at it let's regulate the internet so those people can't oppose us...Oh and screw workers rights, lets get rid of those to..more profits for us yippy!!!

meanwhile we have men and women all over the world that signed up to protect our country.
Only they aren't doing anythign but killing people in other lands that are no real threat to us.

I hate to say it but the men and women in the armed forces today are not hero's...they are glorified mercenaries. Instead of defending our country they are on the other side of the planet killing people in lands that aren't even remotely a threat to us....and they do it for a pay check. I don't think most of them signed up for it....most probably thought they would be defenders of freedom and liberty... But they aren't. They are mercenaries. people that are paid to fight wars...Go Army! Bring the honest men and women home!

This world is really headed in a very troubling direction. If Saudi erupts in violence I'm going to start believing the there is something to 2012!

I agree there are problems in this world.

But:

I used to call myself a democrat, but after thinking about politics, and watching more news than anyone should, I have come to see both parties as a necessity to democracy - and that the corporate world, the same a lot of people seem to love accusing of misdoings - also includes all major media networks (CNN, CNBC, Fox News, ABC, NBC, Yahoo, etc.) and they love the fact that you watch, read and browse, because ratings/viewers mean they have a successfully company. Without ratings they don't exist, and if the world always seems like an intense mess about to collapse, I would say the daily ratings look pretty good.

Be weary and choose more international news outlets.

More on topic, wans't there a bill passed to protect this law?

I agree there are problems in this world.

But:

Steely I agree I don't really align with either party. I'm not saying the democrats are the saints here...but they are better than the Tea Klan. We certainly do need more than one party....but we also need more than 2. I rarely get my news form the major channels, but if I do CNBC and ABC are not to bad. Fox news is so sensationalized that you know they are making shit up. The problem is the majority of Americans are so disconnected from reality because of broadcasting like Reality TV and Glenn Beck that they don't know the difference between the parties. They just no the 'other' one is evil...and the ignorance is way larger on the hard right than the hard left. People that actually think the financial crisis happened under Obama's watch, or the ones that think Obama is the antichrist are the people I"m railing against here.

Back to topic. Breaking net neutrality would be a horrible idea and the end of sites like this. Because after all who will get to decide what's ok to have on the internet? As for a bill put in place to protect it...just takes a group of people that don't like the bill to write another one. Laws to protect other laws are nothing more than show cases for the American people. In Wisconsin the republicans just changed one line and forced a union bust. How is that even possible? I'm a pretty educated person and I can't even pretend to understand all the ins and outs of how my government works so I know most of my fellow Americans and Klan members can't figure it out.

I'm really anti Tea Party if you can't tell. If they ever get in power I'm flat out voting with my feet. I'll drop my citizenship and loyalty to this country like a bad dream.

Anyway I'm in a much better mood today so I apologize for lashing out on the board yesterday.

We certainly do need more than one party....but we also need more than 2. I rarely get my news form the major channels, but if I do CNBC and ABC are not to bad. The problem is the majority of Americans are so disconnected from reality because of broadcasting like Reality TV and Glenn Beck that they don't know the difference between the parties. They just no the 'other' one is evil...and the ignorance is way larger on the hard right than the hard left. People that actually think the financial crisis happened under Obama's watch, or the ones that think Obama is the antichrist are the people I"m railing against here. . .

This is only my opinion, take it for what it's worth to you:
CNN, for example, tries to be unbiased, but to me, leans more toward the Democratic party because of the type of people the sponsors are. All media channels based within the U.S. American democracy follow that same kind of path. And in my eyes, blatant insults are the lowest form of journalism meant to appeal to some specific generalized population, and are sadly common throughout all channels.

What I'm believe the outcome would be if those said sponsors were to be researched:
MSNBC - Democratic party equivalent of Fox News
ABC - Democratic party
CNBC - Democratic party
Fox News - ...
CNN - Democratic party

Though, by claiming any one of them lies means simply degrading ourselves to todays childish political games; discrediting your opponent instead of negotiating (The Wisconsin unraveled to be perfect example, there was a complete failure to do so on either side except for one lone republican). What about the events that led up to now that forced the Republican party to approach "negotiations" so aggressively with the Democratic party? With the Democratic system, all parties hold part of the blame all the time.

The Tea Party consists of normal (Whatever normal means to you) people just the same as any other party. Both sides do a great job of representing the extremists as the entire party.

Anyway I'm in a much better mood today so I apologize for lashing out on the board yesterday.

No apology necessary, I love debating, so if anything, I apologize.

In all seriousness, ranting is simply a raw form of expression and passion. People need to try it more often (some need to cut back a little).

But why wouldn't the very same President who inherited the worst economic crisis since the real great depression, try to do so? He's desperate for measures agreeable to all parties, right now, that is the lowering of our debt and most importantly, the gain of money.

I don't think I fully agree. I think Fox news is the only news source that is consistently BS. It's like watching a dramatized version of the news. I don't see that on any other news channels. For most of my life I was republican....and even then I realized fox news was just a sham.

For me I'm past the point of saying it's just as bad on both sides. While it's a great attempt at trying to hold the middle line...it's also delusional. The democratic party today is leaps and bounds more rational that the republican party. The republican party only represents business interests...period They don't do anything else. Sorry I just can't agree with you...but that's ok. Americans can disagree.

As for the tea party being normal people. NO. They are not. They are racist, they are bigots, they are uneducated. They don't like the system and their solution is to break it.

The only way I'll conceede my views on the Tea party are if People conceede that members of the KKK were not racists....which is absurd. Sure there probably were some original Tea Party members that weren't radical...but their party got taken over and if they continue to be a party of it then they are continuing to propagate the hate.... As a non racists I wouldn't associate with the KKK so why would I associate with the Tea Party? Tea Party is the modern Day KKKK.

Yes it's one example and I don't feel like getting more, but they are all over Youtube. The Tea Party is the largest terrorist organization in this country to day.
