I've been a huge fan of psychedelics for several years now, LSD being my favorite. Psychedelics, to me, reveal nature and the mind in ways that are intense, beautiful, and world-changing. I like to use them sparingly, perhaps a couple times a year during a good year. I find that the experience can be so powerful that it can easily have lasting effects on my psyche over many months.
Recently I found myself temporarily among people who reminded me that DMT is something that I should experience at some point. Being a lover of all things science and math, especially the hands-on variety, I thought it a great opportunity to try and extract some DMT. There's something beautiful about extracting your own DMT from nature - witnessing your mind (with the knowledge gathered by the many minds of others) using its intellect to unlock the gifts of nature.
I spent some time acquiring the necessary materials. Letting me fill up a shopping cart in a chemistry store was like letting a kid run wild in a candy store. Now I just need to massage the organic matter a bit here and there, and before long I'll be in possession of the keys to unlock an entire new domain.
I'm glad I found this place in my journey, it looks to be aligned with values that I share. I look forward to spending time here and learning from all of you
