Nomans tek question

I was wondering in Nomans Tek if usung powdered I was told to use 30ml H20 per gram of MHRB would I then double the lye and use 2g lye?

i think you should go with the original one first you can always double it after if you are having problems with emulsion(more lye)or trapped naphtha (more lye/water) you don't wanna be trowing bucket loads of lye inside without
checking if it is really necessary

SWIM. also always used pre-powderd bark on the original Tek. and never seems to have problems.
So yeah I go with Mr.shroom on this. If you run in to trubble you can always add more water.

Just add water if needed - you don't need any more lye.
Add the water if the solution is goopy and thick BEFORE you add the NP.

Let the bark soak for a good while. That's what SWIM did with pre-powdered bark. Let it soak for a good while and it will eventually go into solution.
