Curious if they could be used for Salvinorin-A buccal delivery, would love to hear some heads thoughts on this. Crazy to even speculate about a prefab product that Salvinorin-A/or in solution solution/complexed could be added to and then volumetrically dosed for buccal absorption.

I suggest the 3M Nextcare acne films. They are carboxymethylcellulose films. Inert, safe, cheap and easy to find but they don't stick well below the tongue as it's too "slippery" and the patch hydrophobic.

The procedure in the video is a spot on description of making chitosan or CMC films. Dissolve CMC , a starch, citric acid and glycerol, dry-heat it in a mold.

I don't know the chemistry of it, but unless it contains some permeability property or agent, it's just a plastic film.
