I was doing an extraction of ACRB, did the acid boils with vinegar, filtered, and reduced the amount of liquid. I had to stop for a few weeks before doing any pulls because I didn't have the time, so I put the thick ACRB syrup in a few jars. When I came back to look, a layer about 3mm thick had settled out in each jar. I poured the liquid to a separate container. Strangely, the bottom layer was immobile.
After drying for a bit, I came back to clean the jars and realized that the layer was a solid with similar consistency to glass or obsidian. It's easily broken by hand, but is very shiny and hard. I think it is made up of mostly tiny bark particles that were suspended in solution, then compacted slowly over a few weeks. I tried tasting it to see if there were any alkaloids, it was tasteless and not soluble in water. I attached a picture.
