ok ive smoked it with a leaf base and didnt break thru so i constructed a vaporizer out of a small glass vile and liquified it. i went to inhale and omg the taste was so unbearable i coughed intensly and wasted my goodies. it was tolerable thru water and marijuana. iz there another way that makes it less harsh? does water have any significant effect on the harshness?

Make some changa/enhanced leaf.

The water through a bong might cool down the vapour, but im not sure if it will help with the taste, how clean is your spice? Maybe thats the problem?

after i collected the crystals i redissolved them in naptha let w.e didnt disssolve sum plant matter and fat than poured the naptha off and re evapped had nice white crystals

Try either the leaf bed method or changa.

Smoke out of a bong or a pipe.

Water cools down the vapors quite a bit. The taste is just something you have to get used to. Peppermint leaf helps to mask the taste a bit.

If the taste is really foul... there is a good chance you are burning up your spice. Non-burned, vaped spice tastes oddly like flowers to me ( i know that sound s unbelievable to you considering what you just experienced) its not harsh tasting at all.

The most foolproof way to avoid that would be to buy a vaporgenie. But, I have a nice glass vaporgenie and still find myself using the leafbed method with peppermint and skullcap. The VG is great, but for bong use, the leaf bed method is great.

Put a little ash into your bowl, little bit of herbs then sprinkle your finely chopped spice and add another little layer of herbs on top. Now try and avoid letting the flame touch the herbs. The heat from the flame will slip past the herbs on top and vaporize your spice. The layer on the bottom will give the spice a place to run to as it liquifies before vaporizing.

After a couple tokes, you can let the flame touch the herbs...most of the spice has been vaporized by this point, and what hasn't been vaped has run to the bottom of your bowl.. so it will most likely vaporize from the heat of the smoldering herbs on top.

Thats how I do it (where legal)

Use infused leaf on a bed of ashes in a water bong, then heat the spice gently with a torch lighter. It sounds like you just burnt all the spice.

maybe im not doing it righ i think i am. it tastes alot like burning bike tire to me

Yeah it takes time to be able to smoke DMT properly. It burns real easy so you have to heat if from a distance with a jet lighter to vaporise it and slowly move closer. You'll get the hang of it after a few trys. Making some infused leaf (1:1 mix of spice and a dried herb in ispropanol or acetone and then evaporated --completely--) the leaf protects the spice and you will have a better chance of smoking it and not destroying it. Also try putting ash above and below the spice or infused leaf for extra safety.

Slow and steady and with distance on heat application. Try to vaporize, not burn. Take your time getting to the first hit. Clock doesn't begin until the first molecule hits your system.

Slow, steady and deep on your hitting technique. Attempt to hold until exhale is clear.

Vaping freebase DMT through an inexpensive freebase bubbler (attached pic) almost guarantees me a breakthrough if I dare try for it.

I have smoked spice about 30 times. The best times were with the Pipe MAchine.
It tastes good as well when you actually vaporize it.

I have removed the straw and replaced it with a glass tube in order to prevent any unnecessary plastic burns.

SWIM agrees it tastes like morphing elves and flowers, but really he like the taste of only spice too.

SWIM has tasted burned spice from a bulb vaporizer and it tastes harsh as hell and makes his lips numb.

SWIM would highly recommend "the machine"

Much much much less danger of burning the spice. SWIM has NEVER misfired using it. Never
