I recall that, and this was a long time ago, i used to fear that the rise of A.I. would lead to a culture of intellectual and creative lazyness. When i look on youtube, wich is something i generally try to avoid because i start to hate that company more and more, this seems to already be the case to a certain degree.
All these A.I. art video's started popping up, and at first i was so naieve to think that all the "movie x by balenciaga" video's where made by one youtuber who happened to be just realy very much into the balenciaga brand, and that all the "hollywood movie x as a bollywood movie" where the work of one single youtuber as well, and the same for all the "movie x by wes anderson".
But no....99% of those video's where made by people who could not even bother to use their own imagination to feed the A.I.
They did not even create the idea for those video's themselves. And ofcourse youtube is promoting that generic shite, as bringing down the collective intellect of our species to that of one single, heroin addicted goldfish with ADHD, seems to be it's core mission statement.
I can only hope that either, this technology becomes available to everyone so that i can generate the movies or series that i would realy like to see, or that people who truly are creative geniusses will learn how to use these tools. Like the actual wes anderson himself. And that those actual works of genius will not be buried under a pile of rubble.
