I have a friend who is considering purchasing a small amount of food grade limo from greenterpene and some food grade fumeric acid from ecrator. Smart idea? (in terms of not arousing suspicion)

Things like chloroform, DCM, sodium hydroxide, sulfuric acid, etc., yes, but fumaric acid and d-limonene? Neither one will cause any suspicion at all. They are not commonly used to make illegal drugs.
Fumaric acid is primarily used in cooking and wine making.
D-limonene is commonly used to clean around the house, and also used as a supplement.
There's NOTHING to worry about at all in my opinion.

Actually, SWIM is using pickling lime instead of NaOH (SWIM is paranoid and doesn't like arousing attention), fumeric acid instead of vinegar, and water instead of IPA (SWIM is performing his first extraction; he doesn't really understand the IPA method well, but the FASW way looks very clean and easy, so he's trying to keep it simple).psychosisdoses said:
