what part of the plant was used - leaves ? it could possibly be dmt-n-oxide, when burned does it smell like plastic ? i found n-oxide stinks badly when burned.
Since all the solvent was evaporated away its probably dmt n-oxide mixed in with plant oils. Try doing the freeze precip from the handbook for 48hrs and swiy will get pure white spice. Evaporating it all down just leaves you with unmanagable goop.
