Pharmahuasca attempt failed completely help!

Hello nexians, SWIM is brand new to the boards and wants to say hello to all and I also have a very important question. Last night was SWIMS first pharmahuasca attempt but failed. SWIM used 300 mg rue extract and a little bit over 150 mg of spice. Dissolved both in oj drank extract then 25 minutes later drank spice. SWIM fasted for a day cause SWIM's stomach is sensitive sometimes. The spice was definitely pure and rue extract came from what is supposed to be a reliable source. Waited and nothing ever happened. SWIM was very disappointed. SWIM need to know what went wrong because it was a total waste of good spice.

wow i wish i could tell what u did wrong, but everything u did was right on, and 150mg of spice should have had u floored. If your sure the spice is good, than yeh the only candidate for flaw i see is the rue. Not sure how strong the extract is, but about 3 grams of syrian rue seeds are needed for MAO inhibition. This is a personal opinion but id recommend caapi over rue in the future, it is much more than just an maoi. hope all works out next time, welcome to the nexus!

SWIM will try caapi next time. Anyone know a definite reliable vendor for good caapi? also swim could've sworn that swim was inhibited before dosing spice because SWIM felt described effects of rue. Ughh SWIM just doesn't want to be excessively vomiting or have diarrhea through the trip.

Whilst it may floor you we are all different, for me 160mg is a starting dose and seems to be the minimum I need to produce effects.

maya ethnobotanicals is best vendor ive had experience with. amazing service, packaging and they throw in a bunch of cool freebies. They have very high quality caapi vine if u want to brew, or what ive been using lately is their liquid extract, that is ready so u just drink a few ml's of it and good to go. So its pretty much ayahuasca not pharma, which i believe is a good thing, found it to be a much more guiding experience

Same here...150 is the beginning of visuals for me.

Ml measurements are completely meaningless without knowing how much vine was used...10 ml of 500g reduced to 50ml is significantly more than 10ml of 100g reduced to 50ml. I cant speak as to extract from maya, maybe they state how much vine goes into each caapi extract, maybe not. If not, experiment

As to color, depends on the vendor what color even means as color does not necessarily indicate what plant it is.

wow u guys have crazy tolerance, i only need 50 and 100 is too much, this shows how much it varies from person to person, so yeh maybe ull need more than 150..about the liquid extract click on details under the selection and it shows how many ml goes into 100 grams of vine, which is a good strong caapi dose. With an admixture 60-80 grams of vine should b good. Id stay away from black, according to shaman's view "They are often associated with witchcraft or brujeria, and should only be used by those who are very experienced with the medicine." Red caapi "Considered very strong and used most often for healing; often, the curandero will take red caapi while their patient is given the yellow variety." Cielo (sky) or yellow caapi

so id go with cielo then red
Also it was interesting to learn how caapi on its own can be very psychadelic at high doses. dmt isnt ayahuasca, aya is the vine-the cave, and dmt is the light to help see

well..300mg of rue extract does not tell us much..300mg of a manske extraction?..or 300mg of a 10x extract? can you give us some more details.

Honestly, I know people often say to go get caapi..but often I prefer rue. I love both caapi and rue and have worked with both closely and I dont find caapi to be any more spiritual or healing than rue. I dont find rue to be only an maoi either..I have had amazing nights of visions with only rue and no admixture.

If you have more rue it seems wasteful to not use it. I would get some caapi anyway if you want to and work with both of them..but dont rule out peganum harmalas..it can be an amazing and healing teacher.

150mg would be more than enough DMT for me..100mg would easily be enough for a high dose..some people need more though..but I cant imgaine feeling nothing with 150mg..however without knowing more abotu your rue extract I think it is going to be hard for anyone here to really say what is going on. Extracts can also varry so much IME and often when it sayind 10x it is not actaully 10x stronger than the actual plant.

The extract was ordered from a website don't know if I can say the name of the site or not I've been doing research and it looks like swim will do their own extraction SWIM wanted it pre extracted for fear of messing up the extraction and getting really sick. Is it possible for someone to be unaffected by MAOIs. Also SWIM has been on a low of dose of suboxone for a year. Could that effect it?

From what others on opiates have said, yes it can effect it. I have heard from other people who use opiates that their tolerance to DMT is much higher.
